With only 25 minutes from my reply above to this comment, I doubt you have had time to read and absorb the other 3 threads. Please do that.
With only ~10,000 cases of HPV-related throat cancer per year in the entire country, and most of those in people age 50+, worrying about this is like worrying about getting hit by lightning: not worth the emotional effort.
Some of your symptoms may occur in some cases of throat cancer, but only in advanced stages that would be instantaneously diagnosed by an ENT doc. And of course the identical symptoms occur in a large number of other conditions, mostly not at all serious. I would guess that among all people with symptoms like yours, fewer than 1 in a million have throat cancer as the explanation.
In other words, simple logical analysis tells you this isn't something to be worried about. So that will be all for this thread.
thank you for reassurane one the reason i was so worried when you look on line and see my symptoms are connected to head and neck cancer like sore throat and ear pain. don't want to be like micheal douglas going to for six months and finding out have stage four cancer i know it takes many years just want tio be on the right path from now on thank you any reply would be apperciated
Welcome to the forum.
I'll try to help. Fears like yours are not unusual these days, as a result of much media attention to throat cancer and its relation to HPV-16, one of the sexually transmitted HPV types. However, the problem is far less common than you might assume.
That said, your concern about oral HPV is misplaced; you should not be at all worried. Oral HPV causes no symptoms; there is no chance such an infection explains the pain you are experiencing in your throat, lips, or anywhere else. Further, when two ENT specialists find no evidence of oral HPV, you can be certain it's not a problem. Here are three other threads that go into these issues in great detail. You should find the information quite reassuring. Please let me know if you have any brief follow-up questions after you have read them:
