Good Evening -
For the last 5-6 days I've noticed some unusual testicular pain that has had no acute onset that I can remember. On top of this testicular pain, I have noticed that the tip of my penis is very sensitive when it rubs up against my underwear or clothing in general.
Some background first, I am 23 year old male who has been married for 3.5 years, my wife and I are in a monogamous relationship and were each other's first physical lovers. I have been faithful to my wife and I have no reason to believe that she hasn't been faithful to me either.
I work in medicine, (not an MD) and I travel quite a bit via personal vehicle, 9900miles in the last 4months to give an example.
I've noticed that my testicles are aching, it seems symmetric to both, and more posterior and proximal areas of the testicles. It almost feels like being kicked to the nuts with a mix of ICY hot on them. Around the same time I've noticed the tip of my penis was very irritabile when it came into contact with clothing. There are no blisters, no redness, no discharge, no smell, no skin flaking, or any real VISUAL symptom that I can see. It does not hurt to urinate or ejaculate either. The only thing that I can think of that increases the symptoms is when clothes rub up against the tip fo the penis (underwear, shirts, jeans etc) and prolonged sitting seems to increase the aching in the testicles.
I attempted a self examination on my testicles and penis and I couldn't feel any type of unusual lump or growth/abcess/smell/rash/redness etc. They didn't as I touched them but I feel sometimes they are aching so bad I do not want to move them or touch them.
Neither the penis or testicles are sensitive to hot or cold water either.
After researching this website and WebMD it seems like the most likely scenarious are an UTI or Epididymitis. Although I do not experience any type of pain during urination or ejaculation, is this still possible? What do you think?
