2 Small Dark Brown Bumps

Hello,
Love this website/forum!
I have 2 small dark brown bumps, each about 2 millimeters round and same high.
1 is on pubic area just above the penis, almost at base of the shaft.
1 is on scrotum just below the base of the shaft.
I discovered these the other day as I was paranoid after having protected sex. These would not be noticeable otherwise. But I think I would have noticed when I trim my pubic hairs. I do get ingrown hairs and these are not really ingrown as they are painless and seem to be like moles/skin tags, but my fear is they may be warts.
I have had many partners through the last few years, some romantic, some friendly, and some financially arranged, but usually risky situations with condoms and this I fear is a case of condom use infection since at base of penis.
Do warts show where infection takes place or in the general area? After treatment should I worry about spreading or reoccurence or go back to my usual condom use in risky situations calmly? Since 2 have formed, is it safe to assume that this will probably be the only 2 to form if indeed they are warts? or will I treat and then have more come out elsewhere? have i spread this to all my partners?! i would hate to. I have clear pictures but I do not see how I can post them.
Anyhow, always anxious and always grateful,
Kurifu

Welcome back to the forum.

Based on your description, I doubt you have genital warts.  As with most of your other questions, it wold seem you are noticing normal variations in your skin which probably are not new.

"Do warts show where infection takes place or in the general area?"  Most warts occur exactly where inoculated, i.e. usually the penis in men.  But warts are not rare on nearby areas like the scrotum or pubic area.  In other words, the location of these spots argues against warts, but isn't proof.

Your other questions are speculative; it's pointless to ask "what if" questions about a condition you probably don't have.  My advice is that if you are confident these brown spots are new, or if you are otherwise concenred they are abnormal, you'll need to see a doctor or clinic in person.  We don't examine posted clinical photos on this forum, so don't bother to look for a way to do that.

Feel free to report the diagnosis if you decide to get examined.  But I won't have any other comments or advice until then.

Best regards--  HHH, MD

I'm not at all sure you need a biopsy, and a urologist is usually not the best specialist to diagnose any skin problem, even in the genital area.  Consider seeing a dermatologist for a second opinion.

In the meantime, I'm still not going to answer speculative questions.  If and when a definite diagnosis has been made, let me know.  Until then I won't have any more comments or advice.

Hello Dr.,
I just went to well recommended young modern (he was just in LA for a urology conference according to him) urologist here in South America (I am away on business). He examined me and said the bumps do not look like classic genital warts but that he cannot be conclusive without a biopsy. He continued to examine and found the flesh colored and white filled bumps in my foreskin folds (I had 2 other dr's examine a few years ago with Condylox prescribed when I was persistent only to burn like heck and then they came back. I also addressed this forum about them with I believe you doubting they were warts and drs saying the same thing) He said he was more concerned about the old pink white filled bumps underneath on the foreskin then the "newly discovered" brown/purple bumps. He said I should have a biopsy to really know. But what do I gain from really knowing if my body is suppose to just fight off a HPV infection if I do have that? So I told him I rather get rid of the bumps and move on. He started prescribing a cream, then I asked him to just burn them off, he said he recommends a biopsy but will burn them off as I request so we set an appointment for tomorrow. Dr., any thoughts or insight? I want the bumps gone, should I really have a biopsy or is it really meaningless since I have to fight it off on my own anyhow if I even have it? am still contagious having the warts removed? Will they come back? Should I wait for more to appear before having them removed? Should I just wait for them to leave on their own or do they actually get worse? Do you know of genital warts or genital herpes with condom use? I am at a point to have them removed, feel free to consider myself non contagious after healing, then having immunity to it for the future? Is this a correct assessment?
Hope you can help me dr, I will ask the other dr these questions tomorrow as well but I trust your opinion as well for confirmation.
As always, thanks a ton!
