I'm sorry, I do not know of such specific centers in Germany or how to find them. EWH

Dear Dr, Thanks for your reply. By anonymous test, I mean any sort of test that I do not need to reveal my identity, so the results can not be registered under my name anywhere.
I am currently residing in Germany. Are you aware of any clinic or center which conducts such anonymous test in Germany or around?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Forum.  I'll try to help.  I'm not completely sure I understand your question.  We need to make a distinction between an anonymous test and a confidential test.  In anonymous testing the test is done but no one knows who you are or how to get the test results to you. This used to be done with HIV testing but the experience was that many people who got tested did not get their test results with this approach. In contrast, with confidential test results., while someone knows who you are they are obligated to keep your identity confidential and not share it with others, with your insurance company, etc.  Testing done in most public health STD Clinics run by health departments is highly confidential.  In some cities, some folks choose to add a layer of anonymity by using false names - In many STD clinics, as long as you pay and fees in cash (typically not much) they do not check IDs.

Perhaps this answer is helpful to you.  I would add that in most instances, unless you have symptoms of sores, testing is not recommended and that for men, there are no approved HPV tests.

Finally, if you have a lesion or a sore, PCR tests are 3-5 times more sensitive than culture tests for herpes. They are highly reliable.

Again, I really had trouble following your question.  I hope my answers have been helpful.    If you would like to provide more detail, perhaps I can provide more information. EWH

And just one more related question: How precise can be PCR test results? Thanks.
