Thanks Doc. Would the cramping bladder be a sign of the a bacterial std or would I need a discharge in addition? The cramping light and not causing me severe painIf by chance (i know small) I did get oral ghonorrhea can that be spread via vaginal sex?
Appreciate the quick answers and actuall reaching out for addiction help. As mentioned in my past posts I clearly have a problem;.
You seem to be developing a pattern here. Travel, exposure, guilt...... I'll try to help.
Among sexual activities, oral sex is relatively low risk. Oral sex is an inefficient way to transmit STDs. The only STD you are realistically at risk for from performance of oral sex is oral gonorrhea and that is rare. When it occurs however, oral gonorrhea is typically asymptomatic and detected only through testing.
As far as receiving oral sex is concerned, of the bacterial STDs only gonorrhea and nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) are transmitted through receipt of oral sex; chlamydia is not and without an obvious sore or lesion on your partner’s mouth, the chances of your getting syphilis and herpes is likewise tiny. If you had gotten gonorrhea or NGU you would have most likely developed symptoms of urethritis (penile infection) by now. Even if your partner had an STD (any STD and it is likely she did not), most exposures do not lead to infection. In your case, if you wish, you could go to your local STD clinic or health care provider to be tested at this time. If you choose to get tested, you should have your throat tested for gonorrhea as well as having a penile swab or urine tested for gonorrhea and NGU.
Hope this helps. At least use condoms on your next trip. It will save you another trip to our Forum. EWH
