You have been tested and, despite the absence of proven infection, treated. In addition, you have had a procedure which did not detect disease. Since you have now been evaluated by trained health care providers who could not find signs if infection, the most likely outcome is that you do not have infection. Guilt and anxiety regularly lead to a heightened sensitivity which troubles some folks. My guess is that this is what is going on. Nothing you have described is suggestive of an STD. My advice, work to put this behind you. EWH
I would like to think that this is just a simple case of nerves...it is not. I have something going on in my urethira. It is not a tingle but more like a mild burn. I tested negitve for all the usual suspects but that does not change what is happening and has been going on for over 4 weeks. Could this infection be viral or something that does not react to the meds I have had. I do not want to bring this home so I am quite concerned and determined to figure it out. Cna you give me any type of direction- medications, thinkgs to look for, etc. I need answers. Thanks
You have been tested - nothing. You have been treated (despite negative tests) - nothing. I have given you my thoughts. You choose not to believe me. At this point I have nothing more to add. At this point you need to look elsewhere. EWH
