Welcome to he fohrum. It is a pkeasure to respond to a question from Zimbabwe, ehrer I have had some HIV/STD research projects.
Condom-protected sex doesn't merely. Reduce risk of STDs in general and urethritis in particukar. It essentially eliminates all risk of urethritis, including gonorrhea, NGU, and chlamydia. Further, azithromycini would prevent or abort all likely causes. Finally, in the absence of urethral discharge, it is very unlikely you have urethritis. The urinary symptoms you describe rarely are due to urethritis.
At this point, I doubt anything is wrong. Your symptoms sound consistent more with genitally focused anxiety than anything else. If they continue, get professionally examined. But if I were in your circumstances, I would not hesitate to continue unprotecte sex with my wife. It is very inlikely you have any STD.
Best wishes -- HHH, MD
I should also mention that I am terrified that I may transmit to my partner (who was not the individual in question above).
