Std

Im 24 years old and every morning I wake up I have a discharge that comes out of my penis. Sometimes if I don't masturbate regularly my seaman burns. Ive been tested for an STD a few years ago but it came back negative. I had an STD when I was 18 but never was tested. Doctor gave me a pill and told me no sex for 10 days. And I didn't follow the orders. Is it possible that I could have something? The symptoms then was discharge all day. Itchy.

Yes, possibly -- or a urethral stricture.

Let me know the outcome once you've been professionally evaluated.  But I can't help further until then.  Good luck with it.

Thank you doctor. But I also have to say my urine flow isn't normal either. I have to push unlike I used to. But once it starts to flow it's fine. Another sign that point's to a prostate problem?

I have told you that no STD is likely, and that no STD is likely to last 6 years. That includes chlamydia.  To be on the safe side, the doctor or clinic you see might test you for chlamydia and gonorrhea; if so, you can expect negative results.

This problem could be serious if not properly treated, and you need to be professionally evaluated, perhaps at a community clinic.  Your local county medical society may be able to give some advice.  For sure something like that must exist in Columbus, not all that far from Sidney.

I don't have a doctor. Would chlamydia have any effect in doing this? Could it go away by itself? I don't have insurance or I would see a doctor. But if you think it's a serious problem I could try and find a doctor to see.

I didn't pay much attention at first to the burning ejaculation.  However, yellow or pus-like discharge isn't normal, and it sounds like your semen amount is abnormally low.  A prostate problem sounds like a good possibility, but there are others as well.  STDs don't generally cause these symptoms, and as noted above, it's too long since you were sexually active.

So you'll definitely need to see a doctor about this.  If you have a regular doctor, go there first; most likely s/he will refer you to a urologist.  Or go directly to a urologist if you don't have a primary care provider.

I haven't had a sexlife since. What are the reasons for burning ejaculations? And the discharge is sometimes yellow-ish like pus. And sometimes a fishy smell around my penis head? Is there something wrong with my prostate? Because my sperm count is down and sometime's comes out so thick like gel. And my erection's aren't the same. Like I said I'm only 24. Is this uncommon? Are these longtime effect's of an std?

Welcome to the forum. Thanks for your question.

A consistent discharge, only in the morning, usually is just leftover pre-ejaculate fluid from normal nocturnal erections.  As you may know, all men get erections during sleep (mostly when dreaming, typically 2-3 times a night.  Just as with sexual arousal when awake, these erections are accompanied by pre-ejaculate fluid ("pre-***").  If the discharge is clear, this is the best bet.  However, if it is cloudy or yellow (like pus), then an infection may be present.

You don't say anything about your current sex life, which would help put this in context.  If you haven't had sex since your STD problem several years ago, it is almost impossible you have any STD.  There are no STDs that last that many years; even without treatment, the immune system clears them up, usually within a few weeks or months.

If there is any doubt, it's always safest to see a doctor or clinic and make sure it's nothing serious.  If you do that, feel free to return with a follow-up comment to let me know what is found.  Also let me know if you have been sexually active recently, with what sort of partner(s), and what specific sex practices.

Best wishes--  HHH, MD
