Concerned after cunnilingus

I recently performed unprotected cunnilingus on a female worker, less than 1 minute for the activity.

A few days later I developed a sore throat and felt hot and unwell, headache dizziness etc

My doctor checked my throat and saw white spots on the back. She prescribed throat spray and amoxicillin 500mgs 3 times a day for seven days. Did not tell her about the activity!

First day after taking the antibiotic started to feel more  with urinary tract irritation and frequent need to go to the toilet to pee, not major pain but ongoing feelings of irritation and pain in the region with dizziness and headaches flu like symptoms.

3 days kater Went to a walk in medical centre and told them about what happened, gave me urinary test for infection which came up negative. They refered me for a sexual health clinic and I had and examination later that day.

I have no discharge from penis and the swab test under microscope  informed no gonnareha infection present , chlamydia urine test has gone off together with throat swab and blood test for hiv. No symptoms on penis or surrounding area after examination

Still feel unwell, feels like urinary infection, throat not as bad but still there

Could I have std in the throat or penis from just cunnilingus unprotected and what about hiv infection

Very worried

11 days since activity and no discharge but feel unwell
The amoxiciilin does not seem to be Woking after 5 days.

If the tests are negative, as I suspect they will be, my advice would be to wait this out and do your best not to worry.  EWH

Thanks for your reply..very reassuring..

Should I get  another  antibiotic if the urinray itching / burning continues after the amoxicillin course finishes and the test results prove negative and it turns out to be a non sti viral infection

Welcome to our Forum.  I'll be pleased to comment.  Most commercial sex workers do not have STIs and most exposures to infected partners do not result in infection.  Among types of sexual exposure, cunnilingus is a rather inefficient means for transmission of infection.  Thus, on a statistical basis alone your exposure is unlikely to have led to infection. Further, most oral STI infections are asymptomatic and the symptoms that you do report are not suggestive of either an STI or recently acquired HIV.  What your doctor described is more consistent with a common, every day strep throat unrelated to sexual activity or a community acquired, non-STI viral infection.  In either instance no therapy other than the amoxicillin (for potential strep) is needed and even the amoxicillin may be overkill.

In answer to your specific questions:
Could I have std in the throat or penis from just cunnilingus unprotected and what about hiv infection?

See above.  The risk for HIV is very, very low in your case, probably statistically somewhere between 1 in 100,000 and 1 in a million (i.e. you are far more likely to be struck by lightning).  There is little risk for other STI and you have been tested. There is no risk of penile infection from having performed cunnilingus on another person.  You have been examined by multiple health care providers and none were particularly worried about STI or HIV.  I urge you to do the same.  EWH
