Testing for trichomonas is difficult in men. the recommendation is just to try treatment.
Regarding herpes, although it can occur in many locations other than the penis, do not be concerned, what you describe is not herpes. EWH
Sounds like there are several issues to discuss here. Let's start with the discharge from your penis.
You have been told several times the you have NSU or, as we call it here in the US, NGU (non-gonococcal urethritis). Whatever you call it, it is probably the most common symptomatic STD in men and can be caused by a number of different bacteria, including chlamydia. This would have given you what the health care provider called "pus cells" on the swab. As for the number, a few such cells may be normal but more than a few is not and warrants treatment. Assuming that is part of what you are experiencing, then what could be causing NSU which did not respond to azithromycin which is curative for most NSU? Perhaps the most common cause is trichomonas. We recommend re-treatment with azithromycin or doxycycline PLUS a single 2.0 gram dose of metronidazole in these situations. The trichomonas can cause NSU as well.
Also, several of the "discharge events" you describe do sound normal, including having a small amount of residual moisture or liquid present after voiding or accompanying erections.
Now for those "spots" associated with pubic hairs. What you are describing sounds like folliculitis. These are not an STD and are common and respond to soap, water and a wash cloth. Ask your GUM provider about them however since trying to make a diagnosis over the internet is not something we recommend--you need an examination.
Hope this helps. EWH
dude you had safe sex I don't see how you could have contracted something...
I have had the same problem for months like pg14mk2 how long after antibiotics can you get a test for bacterial STDs pg14mk2 got antibiotics then got re-tested after them would that not give false tests ?
Dude I have had the same dam thing over and over again. I had safe sex with CSW. I had clear discharge and went to the doctor and he told me I was negative for both Chlamydia and Gonnorrhea. He told me with an intact condom theirs no way I could have contracted any NSU. Maybe our clear discharge is pshycological or maybe even normal mucousal secretions or even precum. I also heard of urethral irritation(look it up).
Thank you for your reply.
Should I specifically ask to be tested for trichomnas? The provider did think about giving me the doxycycline but decided against it. Also is it normal or usual to have herpes but not to have it on the penis?
