Trust me -- it is imposssible for HSV symptoms to start less than 24 hours after exposure. That timing either means your symptoms had absolutely nothing to do with the exposure you are worried about, or that it is due to some sort of chemical or allergic reaction, not an infection.
You obviously are anxious about your sexual choices, but don't confuse shame/guilt/anxiety with infection risk. They aren't the same. Just because of the timing of your symptoms doesn't mean they are related to your escort experiences. Look at it this way: every day there are thousands (millions?) of sexual events between first-time partners, and every day thousands of people get various new genital, oral, or other possible STD symptoms. It is obvious that the same events will often happen to the same people, merely by chance. That's probably what's going on here.
See a doctor if you remain concerned. But there is nothing else this forum can offer you, so that will end this thread.
Thanks doc for ur prompt reply and i felt good after listening comments from you and Dr. Jose (Sorry fr my spelling mistake, its all bcz of my circumstances tht im making such sort of mistakes)..
I do believe yours expert comments but whenever i feel pain and see my mouth sores i get afraid and i read that infections do start frm next day also and numbness, dizziness and white sores are the symptoms of HIV infection thts wat scares me most...Even i pray and hope that I havent gt any sorts of infection ...and these symptoms arent related wid anythng of tht...
I would also like to tell you that long ago around 8 months back (tht was my frst time and ths was my second time) i had protected sex wid other escort (protected oral n vaginal) but i was fine till now so i am not scared abt tht but after ths incident frm t next day only i gt unusual symptoms n dizziness especially tht scared me too much but if you are telling me tht symptoms doesnt start frm next day only im feeling tht Are those symptoms thn related to my previous encounter ???? (it should not be I pray))....Hope everythng s fine and these pain ,numbness and white sores swollen gums disappear soon...Thnx for ur reply and hope you will clear my doubts ths time too...
Welcome to the forum. However, you have had accurate replies on both the community forum and the HIV international forum (Dr. Jose Gonzalez-Garcia, not Jones). Your symptoms are not those of any STD; and no STD or HIV symptoms can start so soon after catching the infection. Further, you describe entirely safe sexual practices: STDs are not transmitted by kissing, fingering, or any other hand-genital or hand-anal contact.
You should see your own doctor to have your symptoms evaluated. They are likely to be the physical manfestations of anxiety about the event. However, no anxiety is warranted based on such an exposure. But to be sure you don't have something serious, medical evaluation is warranted. Whatever the cause, they are not due to an STD or any other infection from the events with the escort.
