Drunken blackout
9 weeks ago on a stag party in Hamburg I suffered a drunken blackout for the last portion of my night out. I can roughly account for my money yet am worried I may of went into a brothel and paid for sex. Are brothels safe and controlled in Germany and should I test for STDs when I don't know if there has been a exposure? My friends say I left the bar drunk and when they returned to our hotel hours later I was in bed sleeping. Am just worried that in such a drunken state I could of went to a brothel which I had no interest in doing. Friends say I would at least hold some recollection had I done something.

I see absolutely no medical indication for STI testing of any sort. I suspect your concerns reflect your OCD rather than any true risk. EWH

I am also recently been getting CBT for confirmed OCD. Would testing be required with no knowledge of exposure. Am certain I would not been able to get a erection.

Welcome to the Forum. I suspect that your guilt over excessive drinking has led you to be overly concerned. If you had had sex during your activities, you almost certainly remembered it, whether you blacked out or not.
Even, by some wild stretch of the imagination, you did visit a brother and have sex, commerical sex workers in German brothels are required to have regular check ups for STIs, including HIV. Having sex with a brothel worker is probably less risky than having sex with a new partner met in a bar or at a party.
