Hello Doctors,
Dr. Handsfield recently answered my questions on HSV transmission through saliva used as lubrication for manual stimulation (via hand) from a stripper. It was a very short incident, and the Dr. assured me there was no risk of any STD transmission.
Can I assume this is also the case for HPV / genital warts? I ask only because my doctor at my local clinic said to keep an eye on a very small area with some bumps. To me they appear as normal follicle related bumps. They haven't changed or presented any pain, or irritation.
I had avoided sex in order to give everything a little more time, but my wife jumped in the shower with me yesterday and we did have sex. She perform oral sex and we had vaginal sex.
Like many other posts I've seen, my imagination is running overtime.
Can you comment on any possibility of HPV / genital wart transmission from my January incident with the stripper? There was no oral, vaginal, or anal skin to skin contact, and only saliva used on hand as a lubricant. Other posts support this being a non-issue.
Thank you for your continued support, and I apologize if this thread is redundant to my previous post. I have read Dr. Handsfield's lengthy and informative post on HPV.
