Herpes or something else?

I have a line of small red bumps under the head of my penis but before the shaft of my penis.  I am circumcized. These small red bumps have been there for almost 2 months after I had unprotected ORAL sex with a guy.  Could this be HSV 1 or HSV2?

They do not seem to be inflamed or puss filled but they are persistently there, and there is a small burning feeling.

Some days they retreat back and are skin colored and some days they look more red, but it seems like they have been there for a long time.  I have other physical conditions.

The list is long and it would not be fruitful for you or appropriate for me to launch into such a list.  Beyond the possiblity of yeast you should seek the evalaution of an expert who can examine you and the lesions that concern you.  EWH

If there is no progress i will seek out a dermatologist.  However, can you give me an idea of what other problems might be ailing me?

It could be a yeast infection and if so, lotrimin  or similar antifungal therapy might help.   If you try this and it doesn't help. then I would urge you to see a dermatologist to help sort this out.  There are a number of genital dermatological problems which also can present as red bumps.  EWH

Doc I still have  red bumbs under the head of my penis. They are now accompanied by a rash.  It does wane and wax over time.  it is aggrevated when i jerk off or have sex.  I have been reading these posts and I agree with your previous comments that I do not have herpes.  I am now thinking that I may have a yeast infection from an extended period of antibiotics.

A. Is this possible, I am circumcized.
B. If it is possible could I treat with Lotrimin or another over the counter anti fungal?

If someone had oral HSV-2, they could transmit it by oal sex.  I do not know why you asked this wquestion however - you do not have herpes.  EWH

Is there any chance that Herpes 2 is contagious by oral sex?

I suspect that what you are describing are normal penile stuctures - either pearly penile papules or benign cysts.  What you have described is not at all consistent with HSV (1 or 2). Herpes would have come and gone over this period and the description of the lesions is totally inconsistent with HSV.  Please don't worry, these are not STDs.  EWH
