Hand job and blowing cold air on penis from mouth

Hello Doctor – Thanks for taking my question.

I am a 33 year old male. Exactly 2 weeks before (12/28), I had a massage from a female masseuse. After massage, we rubbed our naked bodies against each other and rolled all over the place. I also kissed her body parts and squeezed her breasts and other parts. We also did dry humping for a while. At the end of it, she gave me a hand job. While I was ejaculating, she blew cold air onto my penis from her mouth. The same thing happened on 12/30 as well.

2 days before ( Jan 1st ), I started having diarrhea. It is loose stools at times and at times it is okay, but the frequency is 5 to 6 times per day. Starting today, my urination frequency has increased and there is some pain ( like a muscle pull in penis) while urinating. Also, I have a sore throat ( there is pain in the throat).

With this background, I have the following questions:
1. Do I need to be concerned?
2. Can I get any STD’s due to hand job, dry humping, naked bodies rubbing against each other, blowing air on the penis, kissing body parts, touching her pubic hair, rolling all over the place ( with towels etc used on other people) and other activities described above ? Do I need to get myself tested? Kindly check on all the activities and consider all possibilities before responding.

Thanks for your time

Diarrhea can accompany other symptoms of acute HIV infection, but usually not.  Certainly diarrhea alone, i.e. without other symptoms, doesn't hint at HIV.  And of course garden variety diarrheal problems are hundreds of times more common than HIV, even in people who may have been exposed.

That's the last comment or advice I'll have.  If and when you have other symptoms or concerns, my advice is that you carefully re-read all my replies above.  There is simply no chance you caught HIV or any other STD.  Another way to look at it is is that if and when you come up with HIV or an STD someday, you will have to look to other sources than the exposure described.  Believe it, accept it, and move on.

Sir. Thanks for the reply. I understand that I am unnecessarily worried. My last question for assurance. I have diarhoea again that started on Saturday and is there till today. Since, it exactly 2 weeks time after my exposure, I am panicking about HIV. Please let me know that I need not be worried. Thanks for your time

1) The date change makes no difference.

2) I think your frequent urination is a genitally focused anxiety response.  You could not have acquired any STD that could cause it.

3-5) I stress again that your exposure could not have resulted in any STD, including HIV.  You might have a mild cold, but nothing more than that.  If you didn't take your temperature and/or it wasn't eleveated, I doubt you have fever.  Nobody can accurately judge fever without taking his or her termperature.  But of course see a doctor or clinic if your symptoms continue or you otherwise remain concerned.

Thanks Doctor for the prompt update. The dates I have mentioned are not correct. The Correct dates are Dec 21 and Dec 23.Finally my diarrhoea has stopped today after being there for 3 days from Jan 1st. Yesterday and today, my frequency of urination has been very high. Last night, I could not sleep at all as I had to pee almost every 20 minutes. Also, yesterday and today, I feel that my throat and lips are very dry and my lips had to be moisturized.

A last couple of questions:

1. I hope the change in date does not change your assessment
2. Is my very frequent urination and a little pain in the penis area ( like a muscle pull) a sign of any STD?
3. My throat feels a little sore and I have a little pain while eating and drinking. There is also little phlegm and coughing. Do I need to be concerned about this?
4. I am also pretty tired all through the day today and yesterday. I have  a little fever today.Hope it is not an issue.
5. Lastly, do I need to be worried about my sore throat, dryness in the throat and lips?

Thanks Doctor for your time again.Since all symptoms have come at 2 weeks after exposure, I am worried if is related to HIV. Kindly let me know if any of this sounds like HIV symptoms

In the link you have provided, there is an additional s in " postss". Once I removed that, I was able to read that. Thanks for sharing this.

Welcome to the forum.  Initial response, based entirely on the title you chose for your question, without reading anything else:  Hand-genital contact carries no significant risk for any STD, and I cannot imagine how blowing air on the penis (cold or hot!) could be a risk.

Now I have read the question itself.  STDs also are not transmitted by body rubbing without penile-vaginal, -anal, or -oral penetration.  And no STDs cause diarrhea as the main symptom.  However, you clearly had sufficiently close contact to catch a garden-variety gastrointestinal virus.  The most common such infectious agent is norovirus, which can be transmitted by very superficial contact.  If you caught anything at all during the massage and related contact, that's what you have -- norovirus or some other minor viral infection.  It should clear up on its own within a few days.  If your symptoms persist, see a doctor or clinic.  But don't worry about STDs; there is no risk.

In other words, the direct answers to your questions are 1) No, you do not need to be concerned about STDs; and 2) STDs are not transmitted by any of the kinds of contact you have listed.  No testing is necessarh.

FYI, here is another thread that explains the principles of STD/HIV transmission in more detail, which should reassure you:     http://www.medhelp.org/postss/show/1119533
