Help me please

Dear Doctors,

I was reading about Herpes today and I found a thread here in this forum talking about food and supplements that delay or prevent from Herpes outbreaks, and it made me really worried, I also looked at some sites and they were saying that there are like special diets rich of meats and chickens prevent from Herpes outbreaks, I had an exposure last year with an escort, it was protected sex and it was my first time to have sex, but I did not experience typical symptoms of Herpes type 2,  I was on diet rich of meats and chickens and I was having protein shakes as well. Do you think I did not experience any symptoms because of this kind of diet?

I also had HSV blood tests (igg) at almost 3 months and another one at 10 months from the protected sex , it was negative for HSV2.

Can I be confident that this diet and protein shakes did not prevent Herpes outbreaks if I had it and did not affect the tests I had?

Thanks,

This will be the only reply to this thread.  "Little more to say"  is a figure of speech which means I have said all that needs to be said..  As I said earlier, there are no scientific data which indicate that food of any sort changes the manifestation of genital herpes.  Foods to not "hide outbreaks" or change test results.. There is NO reason to worry that what you eat will in any way change the manifestations of herpes.

This will be the only reply to this repetitive thread.  EWH

Sorry Dr Hook, I am "ldnboy73" who posted this thread, I was trying to login with my account but I dont know why its not working, I remembered I had another account I created last year and logged in now so I can comment on this thread.

You said " tere is little more to say than what I said earlier to worried toyou whom I last responded to yesterday "

Could you tell me what is the "little more to say" you want to say for my situation please.
