Do you really need it spelled out more clearly than I already have??? You are right: there is no chance at all, realistically, that the combination of tests you have had could miss the infection. Your odds are greater of being struck by lightning. Drop the subject; you are simply magnifying your own anxiety by just asking questions.

So is there any chance at all, realistically, that these two test in combination at the six week mark could miss the infection. I know PCR RNA tests are not recomended for diagnosis, but is this result a good sign, or conclusive.I know a six week test is pretty close toconclusive but not totally there, and so with still having some odd symptoms going on it makes you wonder if I am at any risk for a 3 month surprise.
The PCR test was a waste of money; I would not have recommended it. (Perhaps I said this before, but I didn't go back to look at your previous thread.) However, the negative result is good evidence you don't have HIV, and the 6 week antibody test result is virtually 100% reliable as well.

6 weeks is very close to 100 percent. 3 months is 100 percent.
Your odds were so low to begin with you should be happy with this result and move on.
But something tells me the fact you posted after knowing full well what the dr would say that you will worry for 6 more weeks and have your 3 month test. You do not have HIV!!! WHOOHOO and forget about it!
