Is this just anxiety?

Doc,

I can't believe I am even here again.  I though I had enough will power to go to a men's club and just look, but after drinking too much, I had fully protected vaginal sex for a few minutes and did not have an orgasm and also had unprotected oral, again without an orgasm.  This was 13 days ago.

My symptoms, if can call them that, have changed frequently or gone unnoticed all together.  This leads me to think it's anxiety again.  At times I felt irritation under the head, on the upper part of the shaft.  At times, irritation on the head, and at times it felt like the inside of the urethra was sore.  When I wasn't focusing on it, the symptoms have subsided.  In fact, yesterday, I really didn't notice anything.  Today, I don't notice any irritation, but when I woke up, about 3 hours ago, I noticed what looked like a tiny pimple on the urethra opening.  No pain, or irritation there, even after thinking about it.  I casual internet search for that single bump or pimple did not suggest an STD, but I wanted to get some advice.

1)  Does anything I mentioned suggest I need to get tested, other than to curb anxiety?
2)  If so, for what?

Thanks.  Hopefully this will be the last time I ever come to you for help.

They are both uncommon and this is rather soon for a urethral wart to appear.  If you are really that concerned, have a health care professional take a look.  If he/she is considering a wart, unless they are 100% sure (difficult to do) the bump should be biopsied.  Personally, as I have done before, I would just urge you to do your best to set it aside.

As my continued interactions with you seem to be fueling rather than helping this anxiety on your part, this will be my last answer to this thread.  EWH

Sorry to keep at this.  I am trying to put it past me, but the bump on the urethra opening still is causing me some concern.  Is there a reason I can put my mind at ease concerning warts?  Do they take longer to show up than my symptom?  Are they just not common?  Thanks.

Sorry, but I had one more question.  Today was 14 days after the encounter.  About 2 hours after I woke up, I urinated without any sensation, but at the end, I noticed a milky discharge.  It was sticky to the touch, almost like semen.  Any cause for concern?

Thanks.  I'll let you know if the sensation exists to the point I go get tested to curb anxiety.  Hopefully, yoru advice will do the trick.  Thanks again.

No change in my assessment.  The irritation you mention could be due to any number of day to day activites iand, repeated self examination which I'l bet you are doing.  Furthermore, anxiety often leads to noticing what turn out to be normal sensations that might have been not noticed or ignored at other times.  Perhaps this was a contributor to your situation.  EWH

Thanks for the advice.  That is what i assumed.  As for the red bump on the urethra opening, I notice it in the morning or if erect, not really as much in the afternoon.  Additionally, I feel like the uretra opening is a bit irritated.  Can this simply be explained by anxiety as well?  I know the penis tip rubs against my underwear when I am flaccid and I also first noticed the bump the day following a run wearing strech shorts.  Can this just be a simple case of chaffing which I am over-sensitized to at this point?  I assume from your previous response, there is no reason to worry about warts or herpes at this point.  Thanks again.

Your shifting symptoms, as well as the fact that when you are distracted they are no longer notable make it most unlikely that this is an STD of any sort. Your genital sex was protected and therefore, safe.  Few STDs are transmitted by oral sex and those which are tend to cause symptoms and certainly not symptoms that shift from time-to-time or place-to-place.  On the other hand, and as you and I both know from your last interaction on the Forum, anxiety and guilt are powerful forces for you.  I see no medical reason for you to pursue testing.  If you choose to get tested, please also commit to believing the test results when they come back.  In my opinion however, what you really need to do is wrestle with why you find yourself in this position again.  It cannot be fun.  EWH

I also wanted to mention I haven't had any burning sensation while urinating.  The "pimple" also is hard to even notice unless the light hits it just the right way, also leading me to believe it is nothing but another random bump on the penis head.  As I mentioned above, the symptoms change every few hours or days, often when I notice something seems out of place.  Once I do some research, my mind is at ease and often the thing which caught my attention is no longer noticable anymore.
