Left testicle, leg, and buttocks pain

I'm a 27 yo male who is who has been experiencing intermittant pain in left testicle, leg, lower abdomen, and buttocks.  Onset was sudden.  These symptoms began 2.5 months ago.  Blood, urine, swab tests came back negative for any STD (I have not engaged in sexual activity in over 6 months).  My PCP thought it was epididymitis, so he prescribed Floxicin for 10 days-pain did not subside.  This was followed up by two hernia examinations that were negative.  I began to notice that the pain in these areas would increase following running or situps.  So I went to see a sports physician.  X-ray and MRI were unremarkable for strain, growths, impingement, etc in leg, hip, and lower abdomen.  I'm now back to thinking that this is epididymitis and that I didn't take Floxicin long enough to see results.  I'm not sure what I should do next?  What do these symptoms sound like? Thanks-NNRC

In 1984 I did have a herniatded disk problem  It started with excruciating pain radiating down my left leg.  I was in the military at the time and the dumb military doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with me.  I was sent to a specialist off base and the doctor know right away that I had a herniated disk.  I was put on bed rest for about a month and the pain subsided.  Since that time I've had numerous problems with back pain but nothing serious and it usually occurs when I over extend myself.  Do you think that this is the source of my abdomal and testicle pain?  If so, shouldn't it show up in some of the tests I've been having?  You also talk about semen.  My semen used to be milk cloudy but now it's somewhat clear.  I had charged that to me getting up in the years.  I gather that the MD behind you initials mean you're a doctor.  If so, what is you speciality?  I do appreciate your feedback.

Looks like the pain is not a big deal by itself. But any of you had chacked your sperm quality and quauntity? If there is a concern with this kind of pain, it would be here. If there is a damage on the testicle, infertility is a concern.

Also, anyone check your L5-S4  spinal CT or MRI ? If there is a disc herniation or spinal stenosis, you might have the symptom. If a disc herniation, you need to check with your Dr. for some solution. For it could bring serious problem in future.

Well.....I had another appointment on the 9th.  The doctor said that nothing was found to be abnormal in any of my tests.  I then said to him, "what you're telling me is that you have no idea why the pain is occuring".  He said, "that's exactly what I'm saying".  Well...anyway I haven't had any pain for awhile now but I know that it will re occur. In the meantime I have some pain pills that I will take when it happens.

A lot of this sounds very similar to what I've been going through for the last 13 months. Dr's say nothing is wrong with me. It all started with lifting a 500lb+ patient(I'm a fireman) in an unusual way. Except for the loose bowels I've got all the symptoms shown. MRI, CT, Bone scan, and X-ray's all negative. They have not performed any of the pelvic manipulation tests yet. Here is the link:

I also have been bothered by recurring left testicle and abdominal pain. When one pain occurs it is always accompanied by the other. I made a visit to the doctor back in July.  My blood was tested and I had an xray of my lower abominal.  I was treated with anti biotic medicantion and the doctor said he would call if anything showed up in the tests.  Well he didn't call and I thought the problem was fixed until lately it started recurring again. Last Wednesday I went to see another doctor. I had blood work did again and also I had a CT scan and an untrasound of my testicles. My pain re occoured on Friday and again on Sunday. On my nest appointment I'm hoping to learn what is wrong with me.  I will let everyone know the results.

Hey everyone in this group. I've had lower back problems for the past 25 years. there have been times when I would twist a certain way and my left testicle would hurt so bad that I couldn't even walk right. after a couple of years of putting up with this I found if I twisted my back like when you put your hands on your hips and twist the top part of your body and let it swivel at the hips the pain would go away. later in life I hurt my back by working in landscaping and I went to a chiropracter and he shared with me that the third vertibre also housed nerves that went to my reproductive system etc. i am also right now enduring a left testicle soreness and it is also coming with lower back pain. I too am one that dislikes going to any doctor because I've recieve more hurt than help from them. I've researched a little on the web and have found out that cancer is not painful in the testicles but any lump or bump should be checked out. I had a friend that just told me the other day that he had testicle pain too and believe it or not he too has had some lower back pain lately. I hope this helps and I'll check back to see if anyone has found help
