Little scared

Hello Doctor, first sorry for my bad english.I'm a male 37 years old in good health.2 days ago i did the most stupid thing in my life.I visited a sex worker (here in Italy). She was 23 y.o., from Ungary.Well she performed to me oral sex (protected with condom) for about 10 minutes. After i came in the condom.
Did i took any risk?My doctor (not an STD expert)said:"even unprotected oral sex is safe sex, you used codom so no worries".
But i prefered ask to you as expert of STD question.
I'm married, can i have unprotected sex with my wife and leave this episode back of my shoulder?
Thanks in advance

This information does not change my opinion or advice.  STDs are more hard to transmit than you think.  Very brief genital contact, without vaginal penetration, carries no signficant risk of any STD.

Welcome to the STD forum.

Oral sex is safe sex; even without a condom, some STDs are not transmitted at all by oral sex, and all are transmitted much less frequently than by vaginal or anal intercourse.  And your doctor is exactly right:  with a condom, it is impossible to catch any STD by oral sex.

You don't need to worry, do not need STD testing, and you can safely have unrpotected sex with your wife.

I hope this helps.  Best wishes--  HHH, MD
