MASSAGE PARLOR MISTAKE

HI, I was drunk and made a huge mistake and filled with anxiety. I went to a massage parlor while drunk, ended having intercourse with a condom as well as a prostate massg (no glove). the condom was fine, hadnt broken, but there was blood on it from her, which did not get on me.

I am panicking about the risk of hiv and other Std;s, i have a partner of 5 years and this is the first time i have ever done this and certainly my last, b... please let me know what my risks are for hiv and all other stds//?

finding it difficult to live with myself and do not want to put my wife at risk.

Welcome to our Forum.  I'll be happy to comment.  Most commercial sex workers in New York and elsewhere in the U.S., do not have any STI and even when they do, even most unprotected exposures do not lead to infection. In your case, condom protected genital sex is a no risk event as long as the condom is worn throughout the encounter and does not break and, as you point out, if your condom appeared intact after sex, it was.

The presence of some of your partner's blood on the condom does not change this assessment at all.  Blood is no more infectious than genital secretions.

As for her insertion of her finger into your rectum, this is a form of masturbation and, even if there were genital secretions on her finger, there is no evidence that STIs of any sort are transmitted though masturbation.

I appreciate that you feel bad about your actions.  The good news is that despite your misstep, you did not put yourself, of your wife at risk form your activities.  There is no need for concern related to the activities you describe, no need for testing, and no need for treatment.  I hope this comment is helpful.  EWH
