Please help

Hi Doctor
I had sex with CSW 2 weeks from now, it was protected, condom didnt break and i took it out and threw it
i saw my semen was in the condom, i cleaned all the fluids with the towel and washed with water also, i am worried if i have rubbed the fluids on to my penis opening. i read the virus in the vaginal fluid die very rapidly
she performed oral with condom on, i got scared and went to get testing after 10 -11 days after exposure
everything came negative except hsv1, which was 1.78

after 12 days i am having lymp nodes swollen under my jaw and back of my ear
not very big but i feel my mouth tighten. they have reduced
i have muscle aches around shoulders.which reduced in a day
i had one cold sore on the lip but it went away in 3-4 days
i am having  feeling that my one side of my arm pit and groin area will swelling

1) I am confused with the symptoms?
some of them are similar to hiv but isnt it 2 soon to see symptoms if i am infected

2) Is my testing too soon?

3) If i had protected sex what are my chances of getting any std , hiv

4) are my symptoms due to hsv1?

I had ELISA done but it might be too soon since the test was done 11 days after exposure

rapid screenings is advising me to get PCR test, they say it will detect the virus
but how acurate is it, I called tstd and they said wait for 3-4 weeks atleast to get tested

If i need to get tested again, what kind of testing i need and how much time i need to wait

TSTD and Rapidscreenings say only herpes and HIV tested might be needed again

i went to my primary care doctor, he ran all tests,
hiv viral test and lot of more

Can you please advise me, if i had protected sex, why am i seeing this symptoms

Thanks and praying god that i am not infected.

You have posted on the wrong site.   Questions about HIV belong on the HIV prevention site.  I will do my best to answer your questions with this reply but, if you have additional questions or follow-up they must be on the HIV Prevention site.  Sorry

Your risk of HIV form a single exposure to a CSW is very, very low- your exposures were condom protected.  Furthermore, HIV is not transmitted by inadvertent contamination at the time of condom removal.  Similarly your risk for other STDs is also very, very low- once again, condoms work and you have been tested for other STDs and you report those tests as negative.  Now,, addressing your specific questions:

1.  Your symptoms are those of just about any summer viral infection.  While the ARS has some of the same symptoms, the chance that this is what is going on in you is vanishingly rare for the reasons mentioned above.
2.  At 11 days about half of infections would be detected by the test you had but half would not.  IF this is the ARS a PCR test would be positive at this time. They are very expensive.  An alternative is simply for you to get re-tested in about 2 weeks..  If your test in negative then you do not have HIV.
3.  Your chances of getting HIV in this situation with condom use are less than 1 in a million.  The chance of getting another kind of STD is slightly higher but not much.
4.  Your positive test for HSV-1 does not tell you where you are infected or how long you have been infected.  It is more likely that you have had HSV-1 for years but are unaware of this.

To summarize it is most unlikely that you have HIV. It is far more likely this is just some sort of summer cold.  Try not to worry- there is no need.  EWH
