Good Day Docs,
As always, get to have this tremendous service. I have a specific question that I am hoping will help ease my mind.
I am a 49 year old healthy male. I am married to a RN with many years in women's health. We got married in mid twenties. Both were virgins. Wife has never stepped out of marriage. I have. Wife used to love sex and now after near damn 25 years of marriage it is non existent. It had been slowing fading for like last 20 years hence the reasons I need some sex from time to time. I have never been with an escort or CSW. In fact all encounters have been with married females, most had kids, with normal paps ( I asked). that had a spouse like me that did not think much of sex.
Most encounters were one time but a few were long term. Condoms always used except in a few times.
My wife has never had an abnormal pap. yesterday she went in to see her doc and the exam went fine, no visible signs of anything but she suggested they do a baseline HPV test following new 3 or 5 year pap/HPV guildlines.
We have not had sex (wife) in nearly 9 months. My last encounter with a married doc herself without protection was about 9 months back. I had sex with her many times over last summer, say 12 times, like once per week,
I would like your feedback given my past and recent ecounter of my wifes HPV test being positive for some strain (high or low risk). She will freak out and ask a lot of questions.
I am talking about a 20 year run here. She has never had an abnormal pap. last one was 3 years back so I am going to assume that is were we look moving forward?
What will nest week bring when to test results come back?
Thanks
