Oral contraction of STD's

I know what I am about to ask is a silly question, but I mainly want reassurance that what I think I know to be right is in fact right. Two weeks ago my friends threw a bachelor party for myself. Of course they had a stripper involved and all of us had many drinks prior to her arrival. The dance the stripper gave me was very clean and professional, but there was one instance that made me uncomfortable and a little grossed out at the same time. The stripper took a dollar bill and covered my mouth and nose with it while making me lay down flat on the floor. She then took off her panties and slightly sat on my face. She made me do stupid things like hum the ABC's and she finally got off. I know my mouth and nose were covered with the dollar bill and I made sure of that and I didn't come in contact with any vaginal fluid as far as I know. I'm almost positive that I am fine because I did not have direct contact with her vaginal fluid because of the dolar bill between my mouth and her vagina. My main concern is my brother who got the same treatment but he had a cold sore on his lip. THe dollar bill was covering his mouth as well, I just want to make sure he especially has no risk concidering he had a wound on his mouth unlike myself. I guess I'm just grossed out by the whole stripper thing and need reassurence that my understanding of STD transmission is correct. Thanks a lot.

Same thing.  All oral sex is pretty low risk and cunnlingus is lowest.  STDs are especially rarely transmitted in either direction.  Small risk of herpes.

Doctor,

You stated that "Even unprotected cunnlingus carries little or no risk for the oral partner." What about the receiving partner?

Thanks!!

I'm not sure how effective dollar bills are as barriers, but it really doesn't matter.  Even without it, the risk of STD or HIV was zero for practical purposes.  Even unprotected cunnlingus carries little or no risk for the oral partner.  At most a theoretical risk of herpes, but in 30+ years in a busy STD clinic, I have never seen any oral STD that was plausibly acquired by performing cunnilingus.

You have no worries.  I don't recommend testing for HIV or STDs.

Good luck--- HHH, MD

I just want to clarify that after she made me hum the abc's she got off of me finally, NOT got off as in orgasm. I am also curious about HIV risk as well.
