Oral sex and worries

I had an episode of cunninglus done on a csw for maybe 5 minutes. I remember having a really dry mouth at the time and poor oral hygene. I have had a pale white tongue after 8 days with a lesion in the mout top. What could it be and what testing do i need. The csw said she was clean, really doubt it now. Can i get genital herpes from this episode?

Hi ,

The first doctor has told me it is not an oral thrush and the following 2 have said it is not. I have been just now been tested and the results will be ready in 48 hours for the oral thrush.

The reason for my concern is that now i have woken up with a cold sore. I have read extensively on the forum that HIV is not a concern for oral sex for doctors like yourself and many users say it cannot be. Should i get tested for things like hep c and herpes 2, would that be a concern to you. The condom was protected, but like always, it slips halfway but the urethra opening is covered. I washed extensively after the exposure.

I have noticed my body to be itchy (maybe becasue of the anxiety), my urine is darker but again it was like that before, just a bit darker now ( i was diagnosed with prostatis), and now this cold sore (first time in my life). I also do have a lesion in my mouth on the top. Is their a chance for hep c or herpes 2 to have been contracted through oral sex?.

Most persons with thrush, if that is what you have, do not have HIV.  I doubt that you were diagnosed with thrush by a doctor.   How could you go from saying "it could be thrush": to "I was diagnosed with thrush" in one hour?.  Please do not play games.

No change in my assessment or advice and no further answers.  EWH

You are over reacting. You do not know that your white tongue it thrush.  It certainly does not sound like it.  Please read my original reply.  EWH

Thanks for your reply.

It could be an oral thrush and the anxiety is killing me. I read on other posts that i should not worry if i dont have sores on my penis or oral then i should not worry but symptoms are never 100%. But i have notices mabe im freaking out by the tip of my penis has like black spots, nothing inflammed just change of color dont know what it is

Could the risk be elevated for HIV risk transmission with this episode? Even having a dry mouth with little saliva  and like inflamed gum near the wisdom tooth, does that increase my risk. I remember she had lubricant on her vagina while i had done the cunninglus act. Should i be worried?

Is this the exposure that has caused you to worry and post on the HIV Forum?  STIs of any sort are rather rare following oral sex.  Most commercial sex workers to not have STIs or HIV.  Changes in the color of the tongue are not caused by any STI.  On the other hand mouth lesions can be but as mentioned above are very, very rare.  At the same time, what you describe does not sound like HSV.    If you have a sore on the top of your mouth, I suggest that you have it examined by a health care provider.

I hope these comments are helpful. EWH
