Please ***** my situation

Hello Doctor.
i'm a 23 years old circumcised male
exactly 4 months ago i had protected sex but unprotected oral sex with some random girl, i was very careful about the use of condom, she asked me to have genital sex without condom but i refused, which i'm grateful to my self for doing that. unfortunately though i had unprotected oral sex (she had almost degenerated coldsore, gray appearance crust under her lip) after 1 week and half of that night i developed  painful urination, itchy and tingling sensation at the tip of my urethra, i ran to urologist, he said it's probably NGU, because he haven't seen signs of herpes which are blisters on penis, he also didn't see discharge from penis, he then sent me to er to check if i had prostate infection but it came out negative, he did urine analysis and he saw increase in my WBC, he said this might be bacterial infection  so he gave me antibiotic known as moxifloxacin (avelox), i can't remember the dose, he asked me to take it for 7 days, i then 3 days while taking the antibiotics developed conjunctivitis which i got treated with eyedrops and gel. 5 to 7 days from them beginning of the pain i almost recovered from the painful urination and the tingling sensation

as you know can imagine this was a thrill time for me, so i started getting worried about other STDs so did hepatitis test at week 7 got negative ,syphilis and hiv test at week 12 also came out negative.

now
1- i have generalized painful feeling on the tip on my penis,i feel like there is something in my urethra, if i press down the urethra i feel like there is soreness inside like an ulcer. i also feel more pain on the tip of my penis when i'm so tired or if i don't have enough sleep something i would call feels like headache in penis "Penis Ache", i get some tingly feeling that disappears quickly i don't have painful urination, what could this be? could be ulcer or injury in my urethra?

Concerns about "bacteria still attached, possibility of tumor growth at position where  bacteria/virus caused the infection" are faciful (sorry, there is no other word for it).  I urge you to stop worrying, see your urologist when convenient and move forward.  EWH

appreciate your quick response, putting STD aside (since i got treated from it), is any of my other concerns something that should  be considered or is there possibilities , i.e bacteria still attached, possibility of tumor growth at position where  bacteria/virus caused the infection ?

i'm currently in holidays outside home, and i can't trust urologists here, that's why i chose this website  to get some suggestions firstly because it's well known for u r support of many people worried out there, and secondly because doctors are from my home country..

thank you , this will be my last question and sorry for taking u r time.

These are all repetitive questions which all come down to the same question and that question has been answered.  Niether the timing nor the symptoms you report suggest an STD of any sort.  Your test results further support that this is not an STD.   Please re-read my recommendations.  If NOT MANIPULATING your penis for several days does not help. you should return to the urologist whom you were intially evaluated by.  EWH

Thanks doctor,
the discomfort is there since after treatment  till now, and it increases more when i'm tired or didn't have enough sleep. i some times try to masturbate to see if pain would increase or would lead to another urethritis but nothing is there apart from that discomfort.

1- is it possible to have an ulcer in the urethra without having painful urination? if that's my condition is there any treatment for it?

2-can it be that bacteria is still attached to my urethra, for example if it was E.coli, can still be attached to urethra like it does in GI, is there any theories like that?

3- i'm worried that my urethral cells at the point of infection is damaged, can this lead to proliferation of cells which can lead to urethral cancer? is there any cases of cancer after UTI?

4- i also forgot to mention, when it was 3 months i masturbated with handmade olive oil and after masturbation i saw some kind of very small pimples that appeared underneath the tip of penis downward  went to doctor  after 3 days , the tiny pimples almost disappeared, he checked on it and he said that this is not typical symptoms or pimples for herpes or hpv, he also said that since it disappeared in 3 days then it's very unlikely to be herpes or hpv or any STD. he insisted that i don't need any test hsv test  and he said that herpes test usually have false positive and not very trustable.
he just told me that i might got follicle blockage due to olive oil or maybe some irritation or allergy to it.  do you agree with him in that?? because i'm also worried that i might have contracted hsv specially since she had coldsore,  or hpv from the oral sex.

5 -i read that some people might have mild symptoms  of herpes/hpv for months or years and could appear later, i'm thinking maybe these pimples are just mild and maybe later it will be more serious, could that be my case?

thankssss

Welcome to the Forum. Your question is a bit hard to follow however it sounds to me like you may have gotten NGU from receipt of oral sex.  If so, while not the recommended therapy for NGU, the moxifloxacin would have most probably cured it.  The discomfort at the tip of your penis that you describe is not suggestive of any STD and may have some other cause of, as you mention, may be a symptom of anxiety.  Repeated examination and "pressing" on your penis can be quite irritating and may be the source of your discomfort.  My recommendation would be for you to keep your hands off of your penis for 3-4 days.  If the sensation is not gone at that time you might want to be seen again by the urologist you saw before.  I suspect however your discomfort will be gone.

Also, if you had an ulcer or sore of some sort due to an STD on the inside of your penis, you would also have sores on the outside.

I hope this comment is helpful. EWH
