HIV is not transmitted through oral sex and the quoted figure for HIV risk, if one has oral sex with an infected partner is less than 1 in 10,000 and, in my estimation that is too high. Some experts state there is no risk at all from oral sex. Neither of us on this site have ever seen or reading the medical literature of a convincing instance in which HIV was passed by oral sex. This includes by all of the people who had lip sores, gum disease, etc.
You have no reason for concern. Most experts would not even recommend testing in this situation. I hope these comments are helpful to you. Take care. EWH
just as a quick addition, I do bite my lips sometimes and I noticed a small red spot where I had bitten away some skin a little while ago. I don't know if this was there last night or not and I don't know if it increases any risk or not? Also, if it helps, the oral I performed was just kissing on the outside of her vagina, around the clitoris, and I did not use my tongue.
