I thank you for your prompt answer! I feel lighter now!
Based on your input and my feelings I will be visiting a specialist and maybe get some tests done.
Thank you again - your service is commendable.

We try not to discount the observations that other health care providers can make in the course of patient evaluation. The ability to closely examine you provides your doctor with information that you may not be aware of and that I may not hear about over the net. Having said that, the symptoms you describe really are not typical of chlamydial infection which may be asymptomatic or may cause symptoms such as burring on urination or a discharge from the penis.
In addition, it is almost unheard of for STD signs and symptoms to appear within 24 hours of sex. the typical incubation time for most STDs is more like 3 or more days. The rash and red spots that you describe are suggestive of some sort of local irritation, perhaps due to a soap or chemical allergy so something else but not an STD. the bumps in the pubic area suggest the same sorts of problems, as well as perhaps something like folliculitis, a non-STD inflammation of hair follicles. The betadine is a cleansing agent and the cream you took sounds as though it contains cortisone which would be good treatment for a chemical irritation or skin condition.
If you had an STD, the antibiotics you took would have probably cleared it up. They would also treat folliculitis. As for the red spots, read above. It sounds as though they are going away - good news. In the meantime, take comfort that they are not an STD. Hope this helps. EWH
