Reliable test?

If I had protected anal sex on Friday 3/11 and got tested for gonorrhea/ chlyamedia on Tuesday-- would the test results be able to return a positive result if I got either?

Cure usually is complete within 24 hours, but to provide a margin of error, patients are generally advised to wait a week before resuming sex.  If there are symptoms (penile discharge, with or without discomfort on urinating), they usually start to clear up in a couple of days and are completely gone by a week or so.

You could (and should) have asked this on your other thread.  You don't need to have spent two posting fees.

The answer is yes, but maybe a little less reliable for chlamydia than gonorrhea.  Testing for gonorrhea is accurate within 2 days.  Four days usually is sufficient for chlamydia, but it could occasionally take 5-7 days.
