I thought as much, and also was assuming that the guidelines are set with the guidance of experts like yourselves with direct clinical experience (most importantly) and the ability to sift through the studies that are reliable versus those that are not. Thus, I assume with all of your experience and knowledge if you were in my shoes, you would put this behind you and not test further.
Welcome to our Forum. Your question is not "dumb" by any means. I would urge you to believe the test results you have. your exposure was low risk and your tests, which are VERY reliable, were negative. The headlines and newspaper articles you have read are "spun" to get attention. While they serve to bring attention to emerging problems, they also tend to raise unwarranted concerns. In your case I see no need for further testing or for concern.
