STD?

Ok, here is my puzzle; I'm 37 year old male. the only sex that I had over the last 3 years was receiving unprotected oral sex (3 different partners), never had intercourse, the rest are just hand jobs and body contacts. It all started a month and half ago when I received a hand job (vigorous) using a "body lotion". three days later I had a burning sensation at the tip of the penis and started to have whitish, pus like penis discharge, went right away to the urgent care clinic, took urine sample (made sure that the first drop makes it to the cup) and the doc thought its Chlamydia and he gave me a week of doxycycline, three days later the doctor call and said the results came back negative for both Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. And the white discharge changed to clearer discharge and by a week it went away along with the discomfort. last week I received unprotected oral for 2 min. (again kind of intense one) and again 2 days later pus discharge started but no pain or frequent urination as the first time but just tingling at tip of penis, went to the clinic, this time they did urethral swab, gave me 1g z pack and an antibiotic injection but three days later the results still came back negative (for both diseases). Now the discharge is almost gone (went from white color to clear then almost gone now). but little tingling still left at the tip of the penis but it’s getting less and less every day, I noticed that if I do not have lot of water the pee might burn a little but nothing uncomfortable. any ideas on how to solve this mystery? The doctor suggested a urethral "probe" which does not sound appealing a lot!!! Maybe I should go see a urologist? was it a chemical burn from the body lotion? Thanks for reading and responding..

Now I understand. My error.  I meant to type "...within HOURS of exposure,..."  EWH

sorry, I was confused since your intial post said "I also doubt that this was a reaction to the lube/lotion that you used- these typically appear within days of exposure, not several days later" but I guess it was a type error.

When I said "several" I included 2-3 days in that range.  As I said, chemical irritants/allergic reactions occcur within hours of contact.  EWH

Welcome to the Forum. What you describe does not sound like a typical STD and your tests appear to confirm this.  (Even if it were an STD, the treatments you've had would have cured them).   I also doubt that this was a reaction to the lube/lotion that you used- these typically appear within days of exposure, not several days later.

Several possibilities do however come to mind.  One is that prostatitis, unrelated to sexual exposure can cause urinary discomfort, pelvic discomfort and occasionally urethral discharge.  The diagnosis of prostatitis is best made by a urologist who could examine you and look for signs of inflammation/infection.  If this is the problem, prostatitis sometimes needs several weeks of antibiotics to resolve.  Alternatively and less likely given the fact that it sounds as though your discharge was present for several days and gradually improved is the possibility that these are normal genital/prostatic secretions which occasional can be expressed and/or noted.

At any rate, STDs sound unlikely.  My thought is this recurs is to see a urologist.   Hope this is helpful.  EWH
