Sexual Health Questions/symptoms
In late November 2010 i had a oral sexual encounter with someone in the sexually permiscuous field. We kissed with tongue, mainly tongue and she performed oral sex on me (unprotected), not to the point of ejaculation.
week/week and a half, a small cut, flat not raised sore on my tongue, with a slight white border on it. STD clinic swab neg for STD's, i also got tested for other std's. The sore on my tongue is not painful. Geographic tongue, Dr thought. Returned same, got worse and i had a day or few hours where i felt really weak,my tongue became covered in yellow like plaque.
dermatologist said it was hairy tongue and will clear up on its own, and not to worry
worried what if i contracted Herpes from this incident and this is a complication of it of some sort..?? Would Leukoplakia/hairy tongue cause you to feel a day or few hours of weakness?
Secondly, I started to get a red rash that seems to come and go on my penis, not raised, just red blothes, sometimes in groups, it doesnt break the surface, there is no pain to it and it seems to migrate around the head of my penis and on the foreskin when pulled back. Lasts for mintues/hours, although my penis does seem a little more red under the skin than normal( as if its there in close proximity to appear again ). The skin on my penis is smooth, even when red blotches are present, and seems almost dry, glassy and shiny and maybe a tiny tiny bit scaley. I have also had burning in the inner thighs for over a month, off and on. At times very hot burning (there is no exterior skin signs thighs/groin). My ribs on my sides where the ribs meet near the obliques feel tender like a bruise and near the kidney/liver kinda area.(my ribs have never been sore like this before, so i find it odd) The dermatologist checked tongue/penis w no concern.
Do you think i have HSV1 or HSV2 ? or is it possible it is a fungal infection? The Dr's i have seen dont think its HSV, and think its not serious because it comes and goes.

As I have made very clear, it is not possible that these symptoms have anything at all to do with your oral sex event last November -- unless some of your symptoms have a psychgological origin due to anxiety over the event (which I think is a distinct possibility). That a dermatologist and 2 STD clinicians agree is additional abundant evidence against any STD.
In my view, it would be a waste of time, money, and emotional energy to see a naturopath or any other provider for this problem, except to speak with your legiminate providers -- the dermatologist and/or STD clinic physicians -- about possible referral for professional counseling about it. For sure don't spend your energies on quackery.

Thank you for your prompt response it is much appreciated. My doctor, a dermatologist, and two different std clinic Dr's havent diagnosed me with anything, which i guess is what is bothering me so much, THe not knowing ......Would a naturopathic Dr be able to diagnose whats going on better? So far they have just said, my tongue has hairy tongue/geographic tongue and not to worry it will pass in time, its been like two months.

Herpes does not cause burning in the thighs or legs. Herpes sores can burn, but such a symptom in the absence of skin lesions is not herpes. It also cannot cause "red blotches that come and go", and of course not "fogginess in the head". For sure your symptoms are not duet to any infection of any kind from the oral sex event you described above.
Forget herpes, and stop trying to discover the cause of of your symptoms by online searching, whether on this forum or anywhere else. Please carefully re-read my response above and get professional health advice in person. I won't have any further comments or advice.

doesn't Herpes cause burning in the thighs, legs area? I dont know whether i have herpes or thrush or some sort of yeast/fungal infection, in my mouth and genitals? no pain in genitals, just the red blotches that come and go and the burning.....recently i have felt run down, (could be anxiety) and foginess in the head.

Welcome to the STD forum.
In general, oral sex is safe sex with respect to STDs -- not totaly free of risk for some infections, but much lower risk than genital or anal intercourse. If your partner had an active oral herpes infection, you could have caught either oral or genital herpes, if you are susceptible to it. (Half of all adults have had prior HSV-1 infections, and are immune, or at least highly resistant, to new infections with HSV-1.)
However, your symptoms do not even hint at herpes as the cause, either for the tongue problems or genital rash. Herpes doesn't cause a diffuse rash of the penis that "seems to come and go" without breaking the surface. Most of what you describe doesn't sound abnormal to me, and your dermatologist apparently agrees. Dermatologists are highly expert in recognizing herpes, and any other skin abnormality, so you can definitely rely on that opinion. Sometimes when someone has had a sexual exposure he regrets, there is a tendency to examine the genitals more closely than before and to begin to notice minor variations in skin tone or other things that were always there but now seem new or more prominent, and that's my best bet here.
Finally, neither herpes nor any other STD causes geographic tongue or other changes of the tongue, or the sort of symptoms you describe for your thighs, ribs, etc. And certainly no infection at all can cause weakness or any other symptoms within a day -- no STDs, not HIV, not anything else.
For those reasons, I agree with the advice you have had from your own doctors. If the symptoms continue or you remain concerned, return to them for further consideration. But for sure they aren't due to herpes or any other STD.
