Pls answer one last time .. doc .. can i have a healthy relationship with my girl friend..
so i can have a happy relationship with my girlfriend without worrying about herpes and hpv..
As I said before, NOTHING about the lesions you describe, or the timing of its appearance suggests herpes- nothing al all. Herpes leisons typically appear within two weeks of exposure/ EWH
Sorry forgot to ask this..
If i HAd herpes can i get symptoms even after years..and how long will it take for first symptoms to come.. as i read online skin contact is a cause and the massage girl and the csw genitala came in contact with mine.. because i am worried for my girlfriend we just started to go around...
and only after your confirmation i will decide with this relationship with her as she is starting to worry about my state..
thankyou!!
doctor a last clarification
1) My skin tag was in my inner thigh close to my genitals and first one came 8 months before.. sometime in october 2012 and second one just came two weeks back but on the opposite side and i pulled it off because of nervousness.. if it was a wart will it be like the same shape for 8 months with no pain and no growth..
2) these growths both in my inner thigh came like in 8 months gap between them and only 1 appeared at one time...
3) So since i din t have any sores i am free from herpes as you said but can a skin tag be a strain of hpv as it was mentioned online but my doctor told its not hpv.. what can be the reasons as i have no other skin tags in my body but just in my inner thighs and now since its treated (Frozen) will it come back in the same spot again..
4)and can i have regular sex with my girlfriend because of the second tag i am scared that i will give something to her...N all my stupid worries started after reading online too much for these 10 days which i will stop as u said..
THankyou once again for putting my mind at rest!! and I thank god for this genuine website!!
Welcome to the Forum. I'll be happy to comment. I obviously cannot diagnose the lesions that you describe over the internet- direct examination and visual inspection is essential for that.. At the same time, everything that you have mentioned above suggests that these are indeed skin tags and not warts/HPV. They certainly are not herpes- there is nothing in your description which even vaguely suggests that they might be HSV.
The reason that I say that they are almost certainly skin tags are:
1. The exposures you describe are very, very low risk for HPV.
2. You were examined by a trained professional who made a clinical diagnosis of skin tags. differentiation between skin tags and warts is not difficult.
3. The location of the lesions you describe, on your thigh are typical places for skin tags but would be a most unusual place for a wart.
4. When persons have 1 skin tag, they commonly have others. I am not surprised you have had more than 1 lesions.
My advice to you is to not worry that these lesions might be warts- there is little to suggest that they are and much in your description that is consistent with skin tags. Freezing them is the right thing to do to remove them. In the meantime, I would also suggest that you stay off the internet because the information there is often misleading or incorrect. I would also urge you to stop repeatedly examine yourself. If you had gotten an STD it would be obvious and would not need repeated, careful examinations to detect.
I hope my comments are helpful to you. EWH
