Risk of STD from Hand Job with Saliva

I had a recent encounter (19 days ago) at a strip club where the dancer gave me a hand job and used her own saliva as a lubricant.  There was no genital to genital contract and no mouth to genital contact.  I am a family man and have been extremely worried and my imagination is running wild.  I am suffering none of the common symptoms such as pain, swelling, discharge or burning during urination.   However, I am experiencing some irritation to the skin on my scrotum.  The irritation could be a result of a recent shaving of the area (4 days ago). I cycle and shave the area every 3 -4 months.   That was when the system started.   A topical anti-fungal spray relieves the irritation for a period of time.   My questions are?

1. What are my risk
2. Is the irritation related?
3. Should I be tested

I also add that I had refill of  100Mg doxycycline from a previous condition (skin infection).  I began taking that 3 days ago as precaution.  2 the first day and 1 the there after.  Total of 8 doses.   I know it is wrong self medicate.  But I was in a panic.

thank you for your response.

Thank you doctor.

Thank you for your assurances and my may be just suffering from anxiety and guilty conscious.   However, I am still suffering from some cool/warmth feelings in scrotum area.  Most of the redness is gone from shaving and the hair has come back.  However, I still have a warm feeling on the scrotum and and were it touches the crease of the leg.  I notice the most when sitting.   I have been using fungal spray and it provides some relief.   Just ask again could it be related to my experience or shaving.

thank you

Welcome to the Forum. The exposure you describe did not put you at risk for STIs of any sort.  STIs transmitted through oral sex are transmitted through direct contact, not in saliva.  The irritation you are experiencing may be a consequence of shaving or simply reflect your increased vigilance for possible genital symptoms.  When people start to look for symptoms it is quite common to begin to notice normal sensations that would otherwise be overlooked.

1. What are my risk
The activity you describe did not put you at risk for STI.

2. Is the irritation related?
I doubt it. See above.

3. Should I be tested
I see no need for testing elated to the events you have described.

I hope these comments are helpful.  EWH
