Urethritis/std

6 weeks ago I had protected sex with a stripper.no oral sex After sex, I have this bad  habit of cleaning my penis with hand wipes/sanitizer soap and baby powder.Which I did after having sex with the stripper. About 8 hours before having sex with her, I had regular unprotected sex with my girlfriend whom I have been dating for 2 years. (Before ever engaging into unprotected sex with my girlfriend we did a  complete std screening, and never had any problems for 2 year)s. The next day, in the evening I felt my urethra burning. It wasn't painful but it was noticeable. I slept it off and was fine the next day til the afternoon. This time I also felt the sole of my feet tingling. There was no discharge of any type. That same night I went to the ER, the doc checked for any infection and took a urine sample/swab. Tests for chlamydia/gonorrhea later came negative. He however gave me azithromycin/ceftriaxone just in case. The symptoms seemed to go away for 2/3 days but came back. So I went back to the ER, different doc who checked me again and found nothing he concluded I had urethritis and gave me doxcycline for 7 days. After the 7 day course, the symptoms were not as bad but I followed up anyways with my general doc who prescribed me with BactrimDS/Desoximetasonecream0.25;I was complaining about some discoloration and dark Tiny spots on my glan. Also there seemed to be dryness on my penis. I only used Bactrim for 3 days because I had a terrible reaction to it (Hives/throat swelling/night sweats/yellow stool). The throat swelling went on for 2 weeks, every time after a meal. I have no other symptoms aside from yellow stools. I have been back/forth to hospitals and did dozens of Blood/stool test + general check ups and everything comes up normal. My girlfriend, the stripper and I all took HIV tests, all came out negative. (I had done 3 different ones because I was scared). My question is what could have been the cause of this urethra irritation? Was it the condom? Chemicals?

his is the same story you described to Dr. Hook, who reassured you that there was no HIV risk (which also means no STD risk) from the expousre described.  Your urethral irritation probably was related to the harsh cleaning and chemicals you employed after the sexual exposure, or perhaps due to a spermicide if one was incorporated into the condom.  Your other symptoms are not suggestive of any STD.  Finally, you have been seeing highly competent physicians who have reassured you about your symptoms, and I suspect your gastrointestinal problems indeed are due to the antibiotics.

My advice is that you disregard your continuing symptoms, at least in relation to any concern about STDs.  It is entirely safe to resume (or continue) unprotected sex with your regular partner.  If you have any continuing concerns, the doctors treating you are more appropriate to consult than this or any other online source.  Direct care by knowledgeable clinicians is almost always preferable to distant advice based only on written description.

Just to add: There was absolutely no foreplay between the stripper and I, No oral sex, just straight protected vaginal sex. I had no fever or chills or discharge of any kind, no bumps or sores . Every time my urethra burned, my feet got warm and alsosometimes my buttocks . Sometimes my feet would sweat. There was a point where I would urinate frequently but my urethra wouldn't burn. The black spots are slowly fading away, but are still here. The dryness was only noticeable when I had an erection on the side of my penis. It goes away by just applying lotion or water.
All I am currently dealing with is an altered Digestive system more specifically the yellow stools. Every doc I visit (including a gastroenterologist) insist it is due to all the antibiotics I have been using. I started eating plain yoghurt and Pro-biotics which helps sometimes my stool regain a darker color.
