WARTS OR MORE- DRIVING MYSELF NUTS

I have never had unprotected sex but I noticed an anlal wart. I read that you can get one if just touched in that area during foreplay. I put Apple Cidar Vingear on it and burned the area completely. Now the area is very moist. A white non smelly liquid. Is that the wart making it moist, the skin trying to heal or do I have a 2nd infection?

Seconly, I have been unable to sleep or eat since this has happened. I have been taking an overdose of vitamins and  have been taking up to 4 advil Pm's t make me sleep. Still does not work. I woke up the other night sweating and had a rash on my fore head. It went away for the most part but came back today when working in the hot sun.

My followup question is this. All these things I mention are possible causes of HIV. Am I worrying too much about them? Did I create the symptoms by taking too many vitamins, Advil Pms, not eating or should I be concerned. No one ever came in me. I guess it is possible of some pre-*** but now I am worried because everything I read says I have HIV. Please help and give your opion. Thanks

Welcome to the STD forum.

Since you do not say you have seen a health professional, I assume you have not.  You cannot self-diagnose anal warts and you certainly should not be attempting to treat yourself without medical advice.  Cider vinegar won't treat warts anyway.  Feel free to return to the forum after you have seen a health professional and the diagnosis is confirmed.  Until then I will have no comments about warts.

Since you have not had unprotected sex, and presumably you are not an injection drug user, HIV is not a possibility -- so that part of your question also is irrelevant.  You don't have it.  If you want to get tested and report the result, at that time I might have another comment.

A dermatologist spends an entire career examining, treating, and recognizing warts.  If he believes you do not have warts, you can believe it.  All these remaining questions ask me to accept the premise that you have something you do not, and I will not participate in discussion that will do nothing but reinforce your own irrational thinking and unwillingnes to accept straighforward evidence.  My only additional comment is that it seems likely yuou have an underlying psychological problem that likely would benefit from professional attention.  I suggest it out of compassion, not criticism.

This thread is over.  Please do not post anything else.  Best wishes to you.

Dear Dr.,

I finally went to my dermatologist, today being 3x times. The first time he said I had a yeast infection around my anus that was infected. He gave me cream for  yeast infection and told me to come back in a week. I did. He said I was 80% cleared up and told me to come back in December. Due to the fact, he only spent 30 seconds looking and I am concerned and convinced I have Warts and HPV I visited him again. The bumps I have, large, rasied and long not just tiny peices of skin like some describe. He said today that it COULD be warts but still was not sure and I should wait til December before proceeding with any treatment. I have attempted to educate myself on HPV as much as possible and you keep saying it is no big deal and the virus will clear itself and I am trying my hardest to go on with life BUT I do have some questions?

1) Is it odd that the Doc is going to wait til Dec before doing treatment?

2) If the warts are treated is there any less of a chance of reaccurrance then if left alone and they went away on their own?

3) My immune system failed.  Should I be concerned that the my immune system could not fight the virus so warts did not appear?

4) From what I read, once the warts are gone they are normally gone forever, sort of like the chicken pox virus. My concern is what if I get sick later in life with something like cancer. WIll they likely come back because the immune system takes such a big hit or is the virus out of the body?

5) I keep reading the immune system will supress the virus. Can I do anything to boost my immunne system? I started taking a multi vitamin and trying to eat healthier but I work long hours and have a stressful job and am concerned this hindering my recovery as well.

6) Lastly, if i am infected around my anus, and from what I read HPV is a skin disease, to infect someome they would have to come in contact with the warts around my anus? Is that true? What I am trying to say is the virus secluded to anus skin area or does it travel and can be in the penile area as well?

Thanks so much for your time and expertise.

See a provider.  End of thread until/unless you do that.

DOC, I am sorry to upset you but I have been sexually active but always with a condom. But recently I had penis play over my rectum. I would not let the person insert it with out a condom. So his penis was there just not inserted into my anus but it touched my anus. That is why I thought I had warts. Sorry to upset you.

It is really trying when users ask questions then pay no attention to the replies.

Get this straight:  there was no risk of HIV transmission.  For HIV to be transmitted, it takes lots of virus exposed to just the right kind of cells. The activities you describe simply carry no risk.  You came here for reassurance.  I gave it.  Accept it or not, I don't care, but don't argue about it.

Since you have never been sexually active, it is unlikely you have anal warts.  I already told you to seek medical care before you assume that is the cause of your anal bumps.  In the unlikely event you have anal warts, professional treatment is necessary.

If you want briefly post the result of a professional evaluation, I'll be happy to comment and provide additinonal advice if necessary.  Otherwise this thread is over; any other comments and the entire thread will be immediately deleted without reply.

Doc, I am sorry to keep asking questions but my life has been consumed since this happened. Regarding your last answer. If the person had precum and taouched my anus or my opening it would NOT transmit HIV when would it transmit? Would he have to be inside the anus? Just want to make sure I understand. After all I have warts so he was close.

Regarding the warts, everywhere I read they say they will go away eventually. Does that mean it is safe to not treat them. My warts seem to be long, raised and mostly flat. My only concern would be they obstruct my anal opening. Please supply your views. I can not think about anything other then this. Still not sleeping and am loosing weight over this. Thanks

Thanks for your time and knowledge. One last question, any chance of attracking HIV during forplay if your partner has precum and touches the anus? I know this would be very little fluid.
