The presence of small amounts of genital secretions after masturbation is a normal finding which should not concern you.
Similarly, there is nothing you describe that raises concern for herpes either. Although herpes is very rarely transmitted to skin not covered by the condom during sex, this is extraordinarily rare and if you had herpes lesions you would have noticed them.
You need to relax. there is no reason for you to be concerned about STD. There is also no reason for this thread to go on. It just seem to heighten your anxiety. This will be my final answer. EWH
Hello Doctor
My Urine results are negative and am still waiting for my Swab results.
The discharge has reduced. What i have noticed is, during mastrubation, after ejaculation, i still see small amount of semen comming out of my penis.
Is This Normal? I now have no irritation or burning during urination!
My main concern now is about herpes! Does my symtom looks like a herpes? My first symtom was at 20th day of exposure which was a stinging sensation, after that, i had repeated symptoms for more than a month.
Does herpes tranfer via skin to skin or does it need mucous memberane contact? I have no cracks on my penis foreskin. iam very sure my foreskin was covering my penis and tip of the penis was covered! Could herpes be transfered via the area not protected by condon just in case! It was a extremly very brief encounter for about 30 sec.
Is there a possibility that i culd have missed herpes lesion that occured under my penis foreskin. I did try mastrubating During my inital symptom days, i had no pain!
Need your advice doctor please.... i have lost sleep over this :(
The chance that you have any STD is very, very low form your exposure. I suspect your tests will be negative and what you saw was normal genital secretions. EWH
Just one more point to add.... my exposure was less than a minute... so does it make even lesser chance of infection for anything?
Hello Doctor
The doctor physically examined the area and put needle inside my urethra and took out the swab. She did confirm there was a discharge. The results would take few days to show up.
In meanwhile i have also given test for UTI/bladder and kidney stones.
Am vvery sure my tip was covered by condom, thou' am not sure about rest of the penis. Since the tip was covered, theres no way of exposed to Gonerrea and claymedia?
I usually hear first herpes is very painful and wuld have sores with fluid oozing out is that true? am sure i didnt had painful urination that time. so if that wuld have been herpes, it wuld have been much worser?
Since i have a uncircumcised penis can this be any Yeast infection or something of that sort. Untill now i have never bothered to bring down my foreskin and clean it. Can it be some kind of infection?
I gave my HIV PoC testing today and it was negative.
Did the doctor see your discharge or just take your word for it? At this time, when you have test results on the way it is inappropriate to comment. I'll be interested to hear what your tests show. My expectation is that they will be negative.
This is not herpes. If the tingling were due to herpes, you woul dhave seen lesions. Tingling of the sort you describe is a rather typical symptoms of anxiety and increase focus on your genitals. EWH
Dear Doctor,
Thank you soo much for your post! I understand from a theoritical angle that nothing can pass through a condom, but i ddo face symptoms, am not anxious all the time, i go out with friends, go on a long drive... nothing worked. I was getting symptoms its either tingling or burning or pinching or pricking.
Am noticing discharge for couple of days. its white and sticky. I went in and gave my swab test today and doc did say i have a discharge and gave my antibiotics injection and tablets.
My previous two were urine sample test taken at 3rd week and 9th week. What can this be? since i tested negative for urine samples this would also be negative?
i understand when my tip of penis is covered there no way of claymedia or gonneroeah. Am worried about herpes. I havent had cold sores in my life. So the initial pricking/tingling sensation i had for 4 days cannot be a herpes outbreak? What about the symptoms now?
am sooo worried ! Need your help doc please!
Welcome to our Forum. I will try to help but I am not confident that I can be of help since you do not seem to have listened to Grace of the HSV Community site, your two family physicians, the clinicians at the STD Clinics or your test results. When considered in combination, particularly when I learn that your only exposure was condom protected safe sex, I am confident, like those who you have already communicated with, that you are at NO RISK form the exposure that you describe and that you have no reason to for concern of for further testing.
My advice is to see the help of a trained counselor or mental health professional. There is no reason to worry about any STD. EWH
