Possible Exposure Risk

3 days ago I visited an escort in her apartment. She gave me a massage and afterwards put my penis in her mouth for about 15 -20 seconds. I had her remove it and then just touched her breasts and hand with my penis until I ejaculated. Afterwards I washed with a wash cloth and went home and showered. I also took 250mg of amoxicillin I had from a previous case of bronchitis hoping maybe that would do something if there was an exposure.

Since then I've had loose stool that has been green / yellow and tingling throughout my penis. What are my risks of contracting and std?  Specifically my concerns are regarding hepatitis and herpes.

Thank you,

This will be the last answer to your anxiety driven, "what if" questions.  There are no studies evaluation the impact on the duration of sex (oral or otherwise) on risk for infection although common sense says this is the case.   And before you ask, there is no way to even guess how duration might impact risk for infection.

Final question - does the duration of oral sex affect the transmission rate?

Welcome to the Forum.  This was a low risk exposure.  The only activity you describe with any meaningful risk for STD is your brief receipt of oral sex and oral sex is an inefficient way to transmit STDs.  Of the bacterial STDs only gonorrhea and nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) are transmitted through oral sex; chlamydia is not and without an obvious sore or lesion on your partner’s mouth, the chances of syphilis and herpes is likewise tiny.   If you had gotten gonorrhea or NGU you will most likely develop symptoms of urethritis (penile infection) such a penile discharge within a few days of the exposure.  Even if your partner had an STD (any STD and it is likely she did not), most exposures do not lead to infection.

Your risk of herpes in tiny (less than 1 in 10,000) and if you do not develop typical genital lesions in the two weeks after your exposure, you can be confident you did not get herpes.  There is no risk of getting hepatitis from the activities you describe.

Taking the amoxicillin was not wise.  It only complicates assessment of your situation.  Fortunately you took a small dose - had you taken more assessment would have been complicated more.  In your case, the amoxicillin does not change my assessment or advice at all.

In your case, your exposure was very brief; I would urge you not to worry. If you must, you could go to your local STD clinic or health care provider to be tested at this time.  If you choose to test, the tests will be negative and in my opinion, you do not need testing at all.

I hope my comments are helpful.  EWH
