Worried about oral std symptoms

I had protected vaginal sex with a hooker, I also gave her head (obviously unprotected). I have been tested for stds and am awaiting the results for the throat swabs but my urine for Chla and Gon are negative. My blood was done for HIV and Syph which were both negative (obviously not three months since incident though). I do have oral symptoms-my tongue feels slightly burning like I had burt it with hot coffee- the taste buds (little red spots) seem to be inflamed or irritated.. I have 2 small ulcers at one side of the tongue back to back which are not sore but have had them since two days after the incident as when the other oral symptoms developed. I have otherwise been ok but very very stressed. I have been using mouthwash but that seems to increase the numb feeling at the tip of my tongue.

The doctor at the STD clinic looked at my mouth and I told him the story, he seemed to think could be thrush or stress possibly herpes but didn't think so( A diagnosis which concurred with my own doctor who urged I visit the STD clinic)

I am worried it could be an oral infection of either Chla or Gon or Herpes. He didn't think so but took the swabs anyway.

I have never paid for sex before and will never again

There is no other sores or pain in the throat, no other symptoms at all

Thanks

Welcome to the Forum.  I'll be glad to comment.  The exposure you describe was rather low risk as there are few STIs which a person can acquire from performing oral sex on another, if they were infected and most people are not infected.  In addition, what you describe does not suggest STI to me.  Most oral STIs such as gonorrhea are asymptomatic. As for herpes, if you had herpes, it would be expected that you would have mouth lesions as well as lesions within your mouth.   Thrush is not an STI.

My suspicion is that this is some other, community acquired viral infection, not HSV, HIV or other STI.  I suspect that it will go away with symptomatic treatment and would not be concerned.  I would not worry.  EWH
