Worried

Dear Drs,

Yesterday I was urinating in a toilet and one of my friends thought it would be funny to come up behind me with a stick / branch that had fallen from a tree and put said branch between my legs. The branch touched my penis, under the foreskin as I had this pulled back. Is there anyway I could have caught something from this? Should I be tested for anything based on this?

Many thanks

Great thanks for the advice. This will probably make no difference but I forgot to mention it before so I may as well mention it now. This all happened in London, United Kingdom. Does this make any difference?

Many thanks

Welcome to the forum.

They call certain infections sexually transmitted because you have to have sex to  be infected.  This was not a sexual exposure and  the stick could  not have transmitted any STD.  It probably was containated with verious bacteria (everything is) -- but your penis is no more susceptble to them than your skin is.  You are no more at risk than if you had picked up the stick with your hand.  In other words, no risk at all.
