I don't believe she called you and told you she had HIV. Nonetheless, HIV is an STD too. No risk.

thanks i understand now that you cant get std if she does have it . she just called me and told me that she has hiv .can i get hiv from french kissing? she i be worried about the hiv? she hasnt been on her meds for awhile and she doesnt know how high her viral load is. does make any diffence about getting hiv? sorry for answer you about hiv but she just told me.

sorry forgot to mention something. i do have have cuts in my mouth where i chew on my gums

Welcome to the Forum. there are no STDs that are transmitted by kissing- French kissing or otherwise. In theory, if your partner had a sore on her mouth due to syphilis or a cold sore, you might acquire one of these infections. If you did not see a sore on her lip or mouth, there is no risk of any STD and no need for testing. I hope this response is helpful to you. EWH
