Sounds like prominent (perhaps blocked) sebaceous glands. Definitely not herpes. Show them to a health care provider if they persist or if more of them appear.

Many things aside from herpes cause lymphadenopathy; and in any case, you apparently didn't have even that. You'll need to follow up with your own provider about the CT results and their interpretation. But the findings are not suggestive of herpes. Combined with the blood test results, herpes simply is not a consideration for you, period.

doc,
I did also have a supposed swollen lymph node in my groin..which is how this all started (the testing)...they performed a CT scan on my pelvis and abdomen with contrast and found out that the lymph node was just surrounded by fatty tissue...this was the only thing that made me think that the hsv test could have been true because i read alot about swollen lymph nodes having to do with infections in the area where they are...the CT scan results specifically state "There is no pelvic lymphadenopathy. There is a 2.0 cm fatty infiltrated left inguinal lymph node. The fatty infiltration of the lymph node is indicative of a benign lymph node." With these results would it be possible that i do have a swollen lymph node and i could have hsv 2?????
