Dlux: Your symptoms don't sound at all like herpes. I cannot respond to the same question repeated times. Do as SunnyTriangle suggests. Future posts with variations on the same question will be deleted from the forum without response.
wilson: Herpes doesn't manifest as a sebaceous cyst. Odor and pus can occur in any baterial infection, not just infected cysts--but would not occur with herpes. Your other questions are better posed to the doctor who diagnosed you.

thanks for your help doctor.
just one more question if you could be so kind:
The first time i popped my pimple, it had a yellowish foul smelling puss. Does that mean that it is a sebaceous Cyst?
can Herpes manifest itself as a sebaceous Cyst?
if it is a sebaceous Cyst, what can i do about it? How long wil it take to go away? and is there anyway i can tell that that's all it is?
thanks again Doc!!
Hey Doc, thought I would respond to my last post which was about me thinking I have HSV-2...I said that I had pretty much every symptom except sores or lesions, in which you asked why I would think this being that it could be something else...Well I can say that about 3 weeks ago I began having symptoms:
What concerned me first was a rash in the left crease between my thigh and groin, I had it checked out by my doctor but he said it looked like a bacterial infection and that it didn't look like herpes at all and would go away...however, since that time I have had a lingering headache and have felt abnormally tired, almost dizzy at times, but able to go to work etc. Also, during the first three days of the initial symptoms my genital area did itch/burn at times, mostly at night it seemed like, I also had some pain in my testicles that went up into my lower abdomen. Now I'm noticing again the last two days I'm having the burning feelings and slight pain in the testicles and abdomen but not as bad as the first time...and there was a day, a few days ago, that I had some burning during urination which I didn't have before...also, I've had the back ache symptom at times as well...although it's been in most all areas of the back...I should mention however, that I have had pretty severe anxiety problems...I remember a time when I had a back ache that hurt so bad I was nearly crying, wow anxiety can do some crazy things! And also I've been itching all over my body, hands, arms, legs, face...I have rashes on both hands that are basically gone now but very similar looking to the one that was in my groin area...the skin is VERY dry and flaking...in fact one other thing is that I did have a small rash show up on my penis for maybe a day or two but went away (no sores or anything like that grew from it though) and I could see the dry white flaking skin just like on my hands, don't know what to think about that...
Anyway, so I've been thinking it can't possibly be anything else but herpes, (being that I've read that you don't have to have sores or lesions to have it)...I did have some sexual contact with two different girls about two weeks before my first symptoms showed up (this is obviously when the thought of herpes first came to mind)...although I thought I protected myself fairly well: The first girl I had sex with for only about 3 minutes WITH a condom and then stopped...the second girl gave me only oral sex for about 1 minute and that was it, I did not ejaculate.
So now you know why I've been so concerned, what do you think?
Thanks much
Why don't you just resolve any lingering questions you have and go get a HerpeSelect blood test?
Im no doctor but the chance you can get herpes from oral is really small unless there is a cold sore present. Also you cant from herpes from a "handjob". I think you should listen to your doctor and take about the results and forget about it. I know I was obsessed with the thought I had herpes after numerous negative test results and visual exams by doctors. Just because something happens with the skin in the genital area doesnt means its herpes. If you took the Herpeselect select test its is very accurate. Hope this helps you out.
This sounds like a pimple, not herpes; and your doctor obviously agreed. Accept her reasurance; you're fine.
