Results assessment, reassurance

Hi Doctor,
Iam a male.I am posting for reassurance.Iam not going to post again to give room for others.I want an expert assessment please. Here is my situation:About two years ago, I had protected sex with two prostitutes. That was the first time i ever had sex in my life.Later, after this encounter i was concerned about STDS , so i did some research on STD transmission and the testing period.I waited for six months after this encounter, then i got tested for all STDS except for herpes. Everything came back negative. moved on and decided not to have sex with CSW anymore since i tend to stress over  acquiring STDS. In addition, about 3 weeks ago, i went to a strip club with my friends, and ended up having a private dance where the stripper was grinding on me for 15 minutes with her genitals on my genitals; however, i was wearing my boxer the entire time,no pants. After the stripclub encounter, i was searching the internet to make sure that grinding with underwear on is truly safe. Then, i remembered  i didn't test for herpes from the two year ago encounter. i was worried that i could have herpes and not know it even though i've never developed herpes symptoms since i had sex with those two prostitutes. 5 days ago i went to my doctor to explain my concern about herpes from the encounter that i had two years ago. He told me that i should not worry since i haven't developed lesions for two years, but again i read on this website that you can be asymptotic for years from herpes. therefore, i had him order me the herpes blood test.  the test was IGM HSV1/2, IGG HSV 1, HSV 2 from quest-diagnostics.Thankfully, everything came back negative. My questions are: Looking at my situation 1-Is the herpes IGGtests i just received, considered conclusive? 2-could it be a false negative after 2 years?3-Also,in what situations a false negative would present itself? 4-In your opinion, should i worry about the stripper encounter as well  or this is considered safe sex?
Thank you Doctor

Welcome to the Forum. I'll be pleased to comment. I see from your interchange with Terri that you are quite worried about acquiring genital herpes.  You should not be- I can assure you that you do not have HSV.  As Terri has already told you, there is no risk for HSV form your experience with the lap dancer- none at all and the combination of your test results and the fact that you have not had any sort of outbreak since your interactions with the commercial sex workers two years ago provide assurance that you did not get herpes.

Diagnoses of any process, including STIs is a complex process in which we consider the risk of exposure (with only 2 exposures to CSWs, your was low), clinical situations  (your lack of outbreaks) and your test results..  In your case, with all three of these indicating that you did not get herpes you should have complete confidence that you do not have HSV.  You have no reason for conern and no reason for further testing.  EWH

I am also not sure if the IGG testing was specific or non specific, but i remember the doctor mentioned it was a specific test. Does it make a difference in my evaluation?
Thank you
