1. Itching for a few hours without lesiosn/blisters is not likely to be HSV.
2. No
3. If I were you, I'd forget about HSV

thank you for all the help that u have provided me with, however i do have one last followup if you will allow me....
last night i started to get a very itchy feeling in my pubic area on the upper left side of my groin.
it was quite itchy for a couple of hours and got me thinking that this could be an outbreak of hsv 2.
the itching in this area is now gone and i have not noticied any blisters.
from time to time during the past 3 weeks i have itching in many different spots in my groin/pubic/scrotal area.
yesterday was 18 days past my sexual experience.
1. is it possible that hsv2 itching can only last a couple of hours, go away, and not produce any visible blisters or sores?
2. does this sound like a mild outbreak? or even in a mild outbreak would you still expect to see blisters?
3. if you were me, knowing what you know about herpes and stds, would u just drop the whole "herpes thing?"
thank you and i wont take any more of your valuable time.
1. Correct
2. Nothing that would not be obvious. Urtheral discharge, buring on urination or genital sores
3. No, unlikely in your case. You are looking at it so denail would not be a concern

doc..thanks for your very reassuring comments...
also, i think there may have been some confusion about the condoms usage...
i was wearing a condom for both the oral and for the vaginal sex...
1. i assume that this lowers an allready low overall std risk?
1a. are there any signs or symptoms of other stds that i should be on the look-out for?
2. in reference to your response #4, could an initial hsv2 outbreak be so mild that i might not notice it or that i might mistake it for something else??
lastly,
3. is there any real risk of hiv as a result of this event?
Having been exposed two weeks ago, if you have not seen lesions by now, it is almost certain likely that you did not get herpes from the exposure you describe. Condoms are very effective for prevention of herpes transmission. Not perfect (nothing is) but very, very effective. She could have given you something during the unprotected oral sex she performed on you but that too is unlikely for a number of reasons including that it would be most likely due to HSV-1 which you would not get because you already have it. As for your specific questions:
1. No. The time when herpes sores would appear has passed and as I have said, your risk is low.
2. No connection. Just coincidence.
3. Yes, very rare
4. No. The fact that you have HSV-1 offers you partial immunity to infection (i.e. it makes it less likely that you will get infected) and should you get it, the severity of the infection, in terms of pain and the duration that lesions are present, would be milder.
5. You are correct, the IgM test is a waste of time. If you get an IgM test it would give you no interpretable information and would be likely to be confused by antibodies that you already have to HSV-1.
Hope this helps to clarify things. EWH
