Question about trich

I asked a question several months ago about tiny itchy red spots on my penis for which I got tested. The tests were negative for chlamydia, herpes, gonorrhea, and syphilis. I've recently resumed unprotected sex with my regular female partner (the symptoms described arose after protected penetrative sex and unprotected oral sex with another female) and she has started complaining about having an itchy vagina and clear odorless discharge. A few days after our last sexual encounter I felt like my symptoms first described (the small red itchy spots) had returned but to a lesser extent. I'm now worried that this might be trich and I may have acquired it unwittingly from the other encounters. Can trich be transmitted by protected penetrative sex or unprotected oral sex?

If I tested negative for chlamydia and gonorrhea can I assume I don't have NGU in spite of the fact I wasn't specifically tested for the latter?

Welcome back to the Forum.  First, straight to your question.  condoms are highly protective against trich but, even more importantly, trich is not acquired by oral sex.

As for your recurring symptoms, these do not sound like an STD.  They could be a reflection of a yeast infection  or some unrelated dermatological problem but there is no reason to be concerned that this is a manifestation of an STD.

I hope this comment is helpful.  EWH
