Risk of Herpes/STDs

Hello

I am a 25 year old boy from Asian British background.  I had my first ever sexual encounter today with an escort.  Was a virgin previously.  I am healthy with no oral sores ever in my life and had no health problems.

I had PROTECTED FELLATIO AND PROTECTED VAGINAL SEX AND UNPROTECTED CUNNILINGUS.  I also licked her vagina for a few minutes.  The problem is that she had crusted oral herpes sores on her lips which I touched with my fingers (touched the sore directly) and she bit my fingers also and then i used same fingers to masturbate bare penis and put on the condom (I have touched inside of condom). I did this two times. (Had full sex/protected oral for 40 minutes and then time it was handjob with condom + protected oral)

When she performed fellatio on me, it was only on the condom and not beneath it. She also touched her lips and then touched my bare scrotum, massaging and stroking it.  Her lips (with herpes sores) were in contact with the condom only and touched no other area.

My worry is the indirect contact from her lips sores to my hands then transmitted when putting condom on to penis or massaged in penis when touched condom inside.

I understand that protected sex and cunnilingus are no meaningful risk and require no testing.

I am worried only of the oral sores indirect contact.

I am getting arranged married in two weeks.  This was part of my bachelor party and I was coaxed by my friends in to it.  I am very worried and ashamed.

Questions:
Should I get tested or call off my marriage till I am sure?  Should I examine myself or should I move on?  Any advice is welcome and would be followed.

If no lesions appear at 14 dasy, you did not get HSV.  EWH

Thank you doctor.  I will wait 14 days and see.  I will be examining the sites of indirect contact (genitals) and direct contact (fingers) before moving on.

Just a last question please.  I also gave her a peck on her lips with sore..a quick one. My lips were dry/chapped perhaps.  No french kiss or any other kiss.  How long should I wait (if I never had hsv) to be sure of no infection of my lips also?  It was a direct contact.

This is a repetitive, redundant question.  It has been answered.  Your risk for HSV is very low.  EWH

the only direct contact with her oral sores were to my fingers.  No other direct contact. Refer to two above comments please.

Refer to my previous comment above.
I am asking this since there has never been any direct contact with her lips to any part.  The concern is only with brief indirect contact during condom manipulation (putting and taking off) or scrotal massage after having touched her lips with sore.  Is it safe to move on right now or should I inspect myself for the next 14 days in this case?

Thank you doctor.  I wish to point out that there was no direct contact with her lips to my genitals at all.  The oral she performed was only on the condom and nowhere else.  My concern as outlined is from she or I having briefly touched her lips (with oral sore) and manipulating my penis and condom and bare scrotum only.  Given these, should I be inspect  for the next 14 days - my penis since condom was put with same hands, and should I inspect my scrotum since she massaged it with her hands after touching herself?

These were the only sites of indirect contact.  No direct contact whatsoever of her lips with sore with any skin part of my genitals or body.

Welcome to the Forum. As I understand it you are fearful of having acquired HSV from the direct or indirect contact of this partner's lips (and the cold sore on it) with either fingers that she touched her cold sores with and  then touched (including masturbation) you with, or through transfer on your hands to your genitals.  All of these contacts are very low risk.  Most direct contacts to HSV lesions, particularly crusted ones, of any sort do not lead to infection.  Further it is unheard of for HSV to be transmitted indirectly on a person’s hands to another person.  Finally, in your own case, because your concern is almost entirely about HSV-1 (cold sores are almost never due to HSV-2) there is even less to worry about.  It is more likely than not that even if you do not get cold sores, that you already have HSV-1.  Over 60% of adults do.  If you already have HSV-1, you cannot get it again at any location.

Testing is not recommended in this situation.  If you do not develop lesions at a site of contact within 14 days of your exposure, you have not acquired HSV form the exposure you have described and can move forward without concern.  Should you develop a lesion of any sort at a site of contact, I would suggest testing with a PCR test of culture using a swab taken form the lesion.

I hope this guidance is helpful.  EWH

Just to note, the CSW was very high risk.  After sex she told me she does bareback with other clients.  I was appalled. I am having panic attacks and waiting your answer.

I wanna go in my marriage without any fear.  I do not want to infect anyone.
