really worried with sore on penis

Hello Dr.

I went to a strip club on 26th dec. she gave me a very intense hand job, and i did kind of fingering with her vagina.i saw little blood on penis when i came home (at 4 am). I woke up in the morning at 9 am and pulled my fore skin back, i saw skin at left side of my penis head got peeled and that part was in red color. and kind of sores on fore skin. on 28th i visited a std clinic and gone through all tests. all came out -ve. still waiting for herpes culture test. Dr gave me 2 kinds of antibiotics. Now it seems fore skin sores are little cured but  one on penis head is always covered with thin layer water (glassy). I  am very scared. please help. I dont have any other symptoms (no fever, no pain).

There is really no STD which would follow thi s pattern.  Open sores can get infected with skin bacteria and if you develop pain and redness I would see a doctor but STD is not the concern.  EWH

I can provide you with reassurance that what you are experiencing in not herpes.  Here are the reasons:

1.  The sores appeared too soon for herpes.  At the very earliest they would have appeared 3, or more typically 4 or 5 days after your exposure.
2.  You did not see any of the vesicles (water blisters) which are typical of herpes.
3.  They resolved more quickly than would be expected for herpes.
4.  Your history of vigorous masturbation (by her) is TOTALLY consistent with the sores you have.

Your herpes cultures will be negative.  Now, or if you prefer when your test results come back, you can be sure that you do not have herpes.

Hope this helps.  Take care.  EWH
