one follow up question: after our posts I considered my self low, actually very, very low risk. I got tested and the clinic called and said my sample was cancelled on account of peeing too much into the cup (their words, not mine). are the tests that sensitive? the difference was 20g to 40g. that seems like a clandestine way to get a follow up test. i'll go get tested again, but i'm surprised the tests are that temperamental? your thoughts? again, the facts of the encounter are explained above.
Anything is possible however to get chlamydia from unprotected oral sex would be quite unusual. EWH
There seems to be some mixed messaging on this board -- is it possible to get chlaymdia from receiving unprotected oral sex?
Thanks.
thank you. I overlooked that htis was a condom protected exposure- that makes the risk for all STIs, including chlamydia much, much lower. EWH
thank you for this. one follow up, if the vaginal sex was condom protected, is chlaymdia something I should be testing on?
Welcome back to our Forum. I will be pleased to comment. The coloration of your urthera you describe sounds like a variation on normal. this area is highly vascar and most people do not spend a lot of time inspecting themselves there. When one looks closely however the red/purplish appearance that you describe sounds as though it reflects this highly vascular nature of thatpart of the body. Certainly what you descrbie does not raise any concerns about STI.
I would not worry about the abnormalities you notice. As for testing, testing is always a good idea after a casual, unprotected sexual encounter. The most imprtanttesting following an exposure of this sort is testing for gonorrhea and chalmydia. In the interim whowever, I would not be worried. EWH
