HPV -no. As for M. genitalium, it is unlikely. The import and role of M. genitalium as an STD is still not fully understood. Myopinion however is that it is unlikely that your symptoms are due to this.
Believe the syphilis and HSV test results you have.
As you imply, it is time for you to put your concerns to rest and to move on. EWH
One final follow up
could this be hpv or M. genitalium The reason i ask i am going back to the doctor and considering asking him about these just wanted to get if you thought these might be possible for the symptoms. And advice on retesting syphillis was negative at just aout 5 weeks herpes select and hiv negative at 9 weeks i think i know what the answer is going to be but just trying to put the fears to rest. Once again thank you i will follow up with my doctor and this will be the final post.
Thanks for the vote of confidence. There is variation on the amount of genital secretions produced with time, both with or without erection. Believe your tests. Take care. EWH
I can agree with the fact anxiety can definetly play a huge role in certain situations and be the cause of most sensations in that general region but i am concerned with this discharge when i get an erection (in my opinion is a little bit excessive, because it is more than the norm) that seems to be irratateing the skin around the opening to the urethera. But i am going to try and move foward and put this whole situation behind me. Thank you for your advice it is greatly appreciated.
Welcome to our Forum. I see that your earlier posts were made on the STD Community site. My advice however is similar to that that you have already had. You have now had multiple negative exams for STDs and been treated for prostatitis, chlamydia, NGU and most gonorrhea infections with recommended therapy.
I am not trying to minimize your perceptions but sometimes after an exposure that, in retrospect, one wishes they had not had, persons tend to examine themselves and be far more attuned to genital sensations than in periods when they are not concerned. This in turns leads to noticing what turn out to be normal sensations that might have been not noticed or ignored at other times. Perhaps this is a contributor to your situation. Your symptoms sound to be variants of normal to me and it also sounds to me as though your doctor has not had clear evidence of infection and has given you treatment just in case. At this time my sincere advice is to try to put this behind you and to not worry about these symptoms.
I hope my comment helps. EWH
forgot to add that i am having dribbling after urination as well as the redness and irratation of the head of my penis seems to be worse with erection and discharge
